Yeah he has the knowledge alright (and he has the power) but not the practical experience. And stories where Harry is some invicible guy from next door are just boring.

ok fine so he'll have to dodgeto take out death eaters (unlike Dumbles who did with one wand wave) But he should be a whole hell of a lot more powerful than Snape and he should be around Dumbledore's less (maybe SLIGHTLY less due to lack of experience)

 

I don't care how strong Harry is as long as he is slightly less powerful than Voldemort for most part of the story. If Harry is more powerful than Voldie then make a new character, Voldie's master maybe, who is more powerful than Harry. The point is that Harry's enemy should be more powerful than him until the very end.

 

Nah don't make something like a Master for Voldemort the guy is too arrogant for something like that.

 

I agree. Keep harry Slightly weaker than Voldemort.

no don't do it. not only does it rarely ever work but you've allready sort of of messed it up I mean you aren't really being manipulative when you bring a 16 you don't even no to battle Death eaters and voldemort. It could be argued that we was manipulating the boy and testing him but it just didn't seem that way to me.

I personally prefer manipulative Dumbledore maybe not evil but definately trying to coerce Harry into certain things, and guide him the the path that he want especially now that he has used Dark arts. Either way you choose you MUST (imo) not change it half way through ie. changing him from manipulative bastard to throwing boons and flowers and all that just really angers me :evil: Good chapter though, can't wait for the next one.
