Yeah, I've gotten zinged by pairings going south on me without warning also. I can vaguely remember a few Harry/Cho fics that I was really enjoying, only to be left with a sour taste in my mouth when they parted ways and he hooked up with Ginny instead.

 

If you look at the long list of choices, it's one of them, so that should be okay.

 

I REALLY like this story.

I just wish that you gave Flamel his own flair. It feels like Flamel is an older clone of Dumbledore. (They BOTH debate sweets!)


ANd they both have the beard, etc. I really like this story, but I would like to see how Flamel is different from Dumbledore rather than being an older, more powerful version of him.

 

Actually, I didn't write Flamel with Dumbledore in mind and notice that it was Harry who brought up the sweet preferences. I thought that Flamel was one of the better characters in the fic!

I've planned up to and including Chapter 15 in detail which I'm quite proud of: planning is a new concept to me.

D'you think there's any reason why the usual reviewers haven't reviewed? Perhaps it's 'cause there wasn't a poll. Anyway, I'm half-way through the next chapter and hope to update by tomorrow at most.

Interesting! Nicolas knows... With age comes great Wisdom.... I hope Harry will perform some rituals... Have Harry use McClaggan as a sacrifice in one of them... There will be cases of sudden disappearance at Hogwarts and the victims remains will be found in the Forbidden Forest... Is there a Slytherin confrontation anytime soon?

 

Hehe. Hogsmeade Weekend next chapter but no Slytherins officially until chapter after next. There's a Harry/Sirius confrontation though :twisted:

Some awkward moments for Harry in terms of the opposite sex...'nuff said.

McClaggan...interesting. He's not a major character really, he's more of an annoyance that turns up when things get too boring.

I've finished Harry's part of the chapter, just need to get Moody's reaction to fit in and it's done.

Ah, so that's our pairing. I was kind of hoping for Bellatrix myself, but this is good also. I just hope you aren't going to turn this into some lame haremfic. Pretty good battle, though I think I could have done without Harry joining the Order. Being there lends to the assumption that he's willing to take orders from Albus, which doesn't make much sense given what we've seen so far. Still, I'm sure you have things well planned out already.

 

You're right in guessing that I do have a plan. It won't be a lame Haremfic but don't expect this to turn into a fifty year marriage...

 

Oh, I wouldn't want that either, believe me. Just that I would be supremely disappointed to see this turn into one of those bad fanboy fics where Harry hooks up with every girl in the wizarding world and they're all okay with sharing him.

It truely is, considering I was EgyptianFlame's beta, though it does explain why I haven't heard from him/her for awhile. I'll take a look at it, see what you've done to it.

 

Him. I hope you enjoy the fic, I'm quite proud of it personally. However a word of warning, past Chapter 4 or so, it is radically different from Egyptian Flame's which I hacked into little bits (as I didn't really like it). Please feel free to drop a review here or ther (doesn't matter to me).

Good News: ...write Chapter 13 which should unblock the Chapter 12 problems (hopefully). Good news because that means that you'l have two small update differences (in time) between chapters 12+13. currently writing an embarrassing but not unwelcome position which Harry finds himself in. :lol:
