I used to like DW's stuff but I just can't stand it these days... the way he (she?) rapes the characterisation of his/her entire cast to the intelligence level of 4 year olds, making Harry's (also raped) characterisation at the level of a 10 year old seem clever in comparison, but really he's still retarded.

 

A couple of interesting ideas, but it just feels so... preachy.

JKR used pig-latin for all of her spells. Said pig-latin never went beyond one or two words per spell. Say for example Petrificus Totalus. It is not Petrificus Totalus Bindus Allowus to Movus Eyesus, is it? It's just pointless and makes you look like a twelve year old trying to make Harry look cool because he can speak gibberish.
