I want to see more of Varys and Littlefinger, fantastic characters, with incredibly complicated minds and deep issues, and despsite that, they play with everyone minds and desires. And when they interect, oh boy, best scene voming, specially in the series, since they interact much more there. Their actors got them perfectly too, so I pretty much love them, and sometimes love to hate them.

But more than everything, I want to see Littlefinger's speech "There's only the ladder", just to have such insight in not only on him, but also in the whole ASOIAF world, and on top of that, such a powerful one, wow. If Harry was in that scene, I wonder.

Littlefinger : "Chaos isn't a pit, chaos is a ladder. The climb is all there is".

Harry Baratheon : "The world is grown so bad, that wrens make prey where eagles dare not perch".

Little finger is a skeevy person but such a fascinating character. I do enjoy reading about him, even if he's the Sanpe of Westeros in regards to Catelyn Tully. Now Varys...Varys...Varys. Yes I am thrilled to see how the spider spins his web.

Although I consider it unlikely that Harry will sit on the throne anytime soon, I would bake cookies to see a snippet of their interactions.

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't it traditional for Lannisters to travel the world? Sort of show off their heirs and remind everyone in Essos that they are powerful? I know Tyrion wanted to tour, but Tywin wouldn't let him, since he is a dwarf and a shame on their name. Maybe HB will tour Essos and meet the Targaryens. Forget Harry/Jon bromance, I want to see some Harry/Drogo bromance.

Heh, didn't one of the Lannister ancestors take a "tour" to Valyria and lose their only Valyrian Steel sword while he was doing it?

King Tommen II lost it when he sailed with a fleet to Valyria. Don't think it was mentioned as a tour. Probably more of a looting raid.

If he were to do some traveling, I'm most interested to see what happens when he meets the Dornish. Huge potential there.

You haven't been paying close attention, have you? Go back and read and you'll see the evidence of Varys' slimy hands all over the place. The spider isn't seen unless he wants to be, but that doesn't mean he and his little birds aren't right there, hidden over the edge of the page. His web is visible if you look for it.

Without Varys, Aeryn would not have been raped. No one would have known who the Nameless were. Varys is no friend of Harry's. And worryingly, Mumbly is almost certainly now under Varys' influence.

His sympathies with the Targaryen children, murdered by his family's vassal the Mountain, his feelings of dishonor as a result and his knowledge of Elia Martell, who was Prince Doran's sister, who he's never forgotten and sworn revenge, which Harry has as well, after a fashion. The Viper, who I think Harry would get along with disturbingly well. The fact that the Dornish were strong supporters of Rhaegar, the man who Harry admires to be like.

Little things. Things that could turn into big things. Those are my thoughts on it. We'll see.

I think Harry would admire Rhaegar if he knew how he was (or at least how 99% of Westeros think how he was), but he barely heard of him. Just see the last snippet. I think Harry and the Viper wouldn't really be buddies, no, I think Harry and Doran would be the interesting relationship there. The guilt and shame, the similar and opposite characteristics and above all, the corpses hanging above them. It's a interaction that has huge potential. How would the oath would change anything? Would Doran believe it? Maybe, will he manipulate Harry to his own goals? Definitely. And there is also the Targaryen shadow, but in the beggining of the books they are merely a pair of destitutes, one crazy brother and a opressed teenager.

And I think Aryanne could be interested, really interested, in Harry, if nothing else, as a ladder. She is arrogant, would she try to seduce him seriously or just toy? Would she underestimate him or just plain ignore him?

Even with Harry feeling sorry for what befell Elia and her children, I doubt Dorne would believe him for a second as the son of the usurper, sadly.

Varys or Littlefinger. It could've been either of them.

In true authorial fashion, I decided to put the last scene I wrote in a later chapter. It fits better, there, given the context (Riverlands invasion). With that being said, the chapter has been posted with most, if not all the kinks worked out.

The things that I left out - ghosts, the rest of the family, etc., will be touched on in the next chapter.

    Thanks for yall's help.

Soo, I was reading the comments and I saw that there is a very high chance Cxjenious will be murdered by rabid fans, poor guys almost never get a good story imagine one this good, so it's not a big mystery why they went apeshit. But I digress, looking forward to the next chapter, and please Cxjenious don't get killed, at least until the story is complete, it would be really rude. Great chapter as always.

Harry was compared to Rhaegar, yes, but I don't think Harry admires Rhaegar. He has seen and experienced too many of the consequences of Rhaegar's actions to truly like him, especially since all he gets are favourable second hand comments and anecdotes, while seeing the brutally murdered ghosts of the people who have suffered for the rebellion. No, I doubt Harry can ever like Rhaegar, even if it turns out that he had extremely valid reasons (or thought he had them, anyway) for eloping/kidnapping Lyanna, or aspire to be like him.

That said, I can see the Dornish experience to be interesting, since I do see him form a kinship with Doran. Oberyn, not so much.

Although, would love it if he were to meet the Queen of Thorns. Would be awesome to see that conversation.

As to Varys, well, really depends who he turns out to be and how he calculates Harry into his plans. If Varys turns out to be a Targaryen/Blackfire loyalist to the core, than, yeah, I can see him working against Harry but if he is truly for the permanent stability of the realm, and that can still be true, the reason he shot Kevan could be the reasoning that the short term stability that Kevan represented needed to be stabilized to get the long-time stability that a Targaryen rule with a truly competent leader into power. After all, Kevan was no one exceptional, just not insane and stupid.

Harry might be the kind of ruler that Varys might support, but then again, he might not. Still, either way, Varys and his perception of Harry will be interesting to see.

So it is confirmed that Harry had little to no contact with non-magical world (or it changed in drastic ways during his life) or this type of memories is not accessible. So no steam engines for Westeros.

I especially liked the bits about runes, about Harry's plans.

Why the second part is not in italics?

    Closing " is missing.
