Way back in the olden days, 1992 to be exact, a little movie came out called The Professional and up until an hour and a half, or so, ago I had never seen this little jewel.

The basics is that the the family of this little girl, she's twelve, is killed by corrupt DEA agents because her abusive father decided he wanted a free party.

Of all the luck in the world her next door neighbor happens to be am Italian hit man and he takes her in.

That's all I'll say about it so if your curious your goin to have to watch it for yourself.

Still I was kinda shocked at seeing something like this. I mean I've been watching so much crap coming from Hollywood for so long I forgot they did, at one point, make good movies...

5/5 for me. I really found nothing I didn't like about this movie.

    It was 1994.
And this is a classic. How could you not have seen this. Natalie Portman's first big movie.

I was eight at the time so I wasn't really interested in these types of movies, not while I still had my Power Rangers, and I don't watch all that much TV, I also saw Scarface last night, and I was extremely disappointed as I though it was about Al Capone and not some make believe guy called Tony Montana...

Ok, even I cant stand Scarface. Only the last 10-20 minutes are anygood. But 'The Professional' is still an all time favorite. Nothing from that movie is bad.

Me. Might go back to it at some point.

Director's Cut is the way to go. Shows more of Matilda's training and her trying to seduce Leon after he rescues her from the DEA building.

Yup, this is a classic. I bought it on DVD twice way back when DVDs were 20+ bucks a pop. First, "The Professional" DVD that came out and then the Director's Cut/French cut called "Leon." It certainly had more awkwardness with Matilda putting the moves on him and hints of a less than parental relationship.

Though all you pedos out there can still fall in love with the adorableness of a way too young Natalie Portman in Beautiful Girls as well. Another one with her macking and flirting with men her daddy's age.

The international "Leon" cut is so much better than the "The Professional" cut. Develops the characters a lot more.
