For me, the enemy Snipers have been incredibly amusing. Being a somewhat decent shot, I can literally just farm them for kills with no fear of dieing. Although I do get somewhat annoyed when I look at my own team, see two to three other snipers, and see I'm the only one with 5+ points.

For the most part, though, I haven't had any new player horror stories like yours, just understandably inexperienced players (worst question I got was, "Why does my sniper not headshot when I'm scoped out?" :facepalm)

Oh, and I've been accused of aimbotting every three games or so. lol

I don't really see a problem with this; it's just an entertaining deviation that's not as viable as stock, like most weapons. I was playing with one guy who had the set, and while he did decent, and was pretty good with melee in general, he obviously could have done better with stock.


As for the mute button, it's in the same place it always was for me. I suggest you look harder.

I payed $10 and bought the game a week and a half before it went free to play.

Is the DLP server going to be up again at some point? I know it was really popular for a while, but then it kind of just dropped off. It'd be fun to play with some DLP crew.

I feel like playing games such as MNC (with so many things ripped from TF2) or CoD (as another 'mainstream' FPS) has given me a better appreciation for TF2 than I would have had if I hadn't already been video-game-jaded. It's balanced, moderately fast-paced, the learning curve isn't too steep, and the community isn't full of nothing but trolls.

Steam name is Wintercourt, currently playing medic and only picked up the game after it went free to play. No real horror stories though I had one attack/defense game against 6 spies, 2 heavies, 3 medics, and a sniper, they were the attackers.

I did have that happen yesterday. Restarted my computer, and the game is launching.

However, I've been having issues with windowed mode. I like alt-tabbing out, and it doesn't seem to work for me anymore.
