Edit: Nevermind. After it did a selfupdate and restarted, I could install it from Library -> Games.

Some fag from England stole my name. It appears I can still be Militis, but I dunno. I can't seem to add friends, I've got a limited account until I purchase a game from them (Fuck you Steam).

Edit: I played 5 hours yesterday and I'm lovin' it. I usually don't like FPS games, but this one is OK. I've found I suck at most all the characters, but still have fun. Haven't played an online game yet, just offline against the CPU, but as soon as I can scrounge up the cash I'll buy the full version.

Apparently my Steam account is more limited than I thought. I only got to play yesterday, and then it disconnected the game from my Steam account.

Can I use a non-Steam version of TF2 to play on the DLP server? Going to "borrow" the game until I can afford to buy it.

 

I dont think there is such a thing as a nonsteam version.

Tonight was epic. Bio and another medic healing me as a spy, soon as they got me to full I spun, backstabbed one, facestabbed and critted another, ruined this engy who was coming out to spawn, and then took down a turret. Havoc saw it dying, and I nearly shit myself laughing.

Epic times.

Thats awesome Vash. Why don't you just do what I do though, always jack it to a payload map? They tend to bring in the most ppl the fastest!

 

A big problem I see with these servers is the player size.

While more numbers tend to be more fun in other games, in quite a few maps, the gameplay becomes terrible. Demomen and Soldiers reach a critical mass and the room to move is limited, and the thing ends up being a terrible cluster.

Also, now that I added the servers to my favorite server, I should be joining again.
