There would be a lot of prods for inactivity here and with how the game is going I will be bluntly honest and say I am debating mod killing the whole game. I need to see if there is a way to get people active fairly.

I'm thinking:

Town: Rubicon, Snowvon, Luckylee, Citrus, Xanidel, Pinky

Moving Pinky into the town category after a review of his mafiascum meta. He doesn't usually interact with a partner the way he has with fontisian. This could be the game he decided to do things differently, of course, but there's another point - it's not really good strategy to play the way he has today knowing that fontisian was 99% likely to be lynched. (e.g. voting me for voting her, in his first post today)

I kind of think fontisian's play makes more sense if she's allowing him to connect himself to her, than if he actually is connected to her.

Yesterday I had the strong impression that Citrus really was having trouble seeing fontisian as scum. Not pretending to think she's town, but actually believing it. This isn't 100% conclusive, but at this point in the game -- with him refusing to post and mathblade about to just kill everyone -- I'm just going to roll with my townread on him.

fontisian, of course, is minimizing her interactions today by saying she 'can't get into the game.' She knows she's going down, so she's not going to give us more information to work with by pretending to scumhunt.

That leaves the following suspects:

The Waco Kid
Atum
Sloth
TerRaine
Jpzh2d

I think only one of those names is town.

The reason I asked TerRaine to respond to fontisian's case is because I feel like that would be a difficult thing to do if they're partners. I mean, if you're town and someone makes a bullshit case on you, it's not usually that hard to just go point by point and explain why it's stupid.

I'm probably just going to put this down as a bad game. Inactivity+modkills+a stupidly large scum/town ratio+people refusing to claim when they absolutely need to+the usual moronic paranoia about me make for an impossible game.

 

Sorry for my absence, had a couple of wisdom teeth removed Friday, and was recovering.

I agree with Citrus feeling like frustrated town at the end of Day 1, but it to me it looked like he was firm in a Fontisian = scum stance by 899 & 915, so I'm not sure where you're getting that impression Rubicon.

I still don't understand your reads on JP & Xan. Completely backwards. While both have been low activity, Jp has shown a logical thought process the entire game (with some misconceptions, but ones that are logical given lack of meta), as opposed to Xanidel, who has been evasive, to the point that you have to drag information out of him, only giving it when it would appear scummy not to.

 

Right, he went from defending her to calling her scum. My question was, is this Citrus defending a partner and then deciding to bus? Or Citrus defending someone he thinks is town and then slowly realizing she's not? I think it's the latter.

JP is actually my current guess for who's town on that list. Leaving you, fontisian, Sloth, Atum and TerRaine as mafia.

I don't think Xanidel has been evasive. Quiet, but perfectly willing to explain his thought process when asked.

 

I do actually think some of Jp's posts have been pretty towny. That was a while back, though.

Well, I agree with most of that.

 

I realized we probably can't massclaim due to all the lurkers. No way to confirm whether Luckylee was serious, and Sloth is gone too.

Two last things:

1. False. I don't give up as scum. I have literally been cop checked scum, and still fought on to the win.
2. I'm generally disappointed with the level of play this game. For horrible lurking, to tunneling, to no-lynching, it's all been a way to make an already scumsided game much worse. I do not think town is capable of winning this, and when no one else seems to care, I don't really care to try.

Final scumteam bet is that literally everyone is scum.

Rubicon, Citrus and Von are probably just being bad.

 

I mean, either you're scum (very likely) or we end the game and move on with our lives. It's win-win.

The apathy is starting to get to me as well though. #1068 is pretty much the best I can do with no one else doing anything.

If you're town I'll be irritated, just because (having spend the last few days pouring over the thread) I think there's more than enough information for the two of us to rip through a 5-man scum team if we were both town and working together.

But you've been being weird and pushing mislynches and not scumhunting.

Rubicon, you've been tunneling me for 3 goddamn weeks for my town play. Every time I have tried to pressure someone, you have cut off that pressure because "fontisian is outed scum."

If you are town, then you have no right to be irritated, and I have every right to want your head.

I can't actually "cut off" anyone's pressure. You're perfectly capable of just saying "fuck Rubicon, he's wrong and X, Y, Z are scum." So far you've been replying to me a lot (why do you even care what I say if I'm that wrong?) and your scumreads have been Snowvon (town), Titus (town), and me (town).
