    Ok, the summary the author gives is not the best. The basic premise follows "what if Anakin had been found by Palpatine before the Jedi?" It follows Anakin's history somewhat briefly under Sidious's "tutelage", but the meat of the story appears to be in his interactions with a colder and harsher Padme Amidala as the two play a political game.

    The story is the first SW fanfiction I have read where Anakin comes across as something other than a whiny bitch. In fact, I would say he comes across as something of a badass in this story.

    It is romance, but well done in my opinion. The characterizations the author has given kept me intrigued.

    All in all, I think the author has done well for this story.
