I agree with Azira that Jon's attitude is pretty asshole-y, but he has put forth good points regarding the lynchs- though Stojil also puts forth a good point. IIRC, the Red Duchess blocked the same person twice or more in a row last game often enough, so I don't see why whoever it is wouldn't follow up the same strategy here, if only to cause the very trouble going back and forth here.

Stojil's pushing ridiculously hard, Jon's returning with equal strength. It all comes down to a matter of who gives off the worst scumvibes- like I said, it's feeling a lot like how Evan Tide became after getting targeted, or Stojil himself back on day 1 of the first game.

He's definitely playing aggressively - which can be either a scumtell or a town tell, but he's gone after people before based on fairly circumstantial evidence (me, for example), then dropped it when a reasonable explanation was provided. I'm still reasonably certain that he's town.

Definitely agree here. It's against the rules to lie about real-life activities, so let's not accuse people of that.

Now this is where you go overboard. Up until this point, I was perfectly happy to believe that you were town, but this part throws me for a loop.

You assume far too much - one, that Dresden has checked you. Yes, it's likely given your history, but you shouldn't assume. Two, that you know most of the roles already (I presume that this is how you "know" McCoy's identity?). You may very well know them, but you may be wrong - and that's dangerous.

And your threat really makes me wonder. You spend your whole post claiming to be pro-town, then say that if we vote to lynch you, you'll turn around and hand us over to the scum. That's about as anti-town a sentiment as you can get. Are you really so spiteful as to do that over a game?

That said, you're a smart enough player to know that the last part would look scummy, so maybe you are town after all. I do dislike your attitude towards the game, but that's hardly enough reason to vote for you.

I in fact usually find your analysis of things to be pretty good so it baffles me why all of a sudden your so gung-ho when you have nothing but what your choosing to glean from things. I would really like to believe your town and you've just gotten carried away but the longer you carry this on with nothing but what you've decided to read into the harder it is for me to believe it.

 

Whoever gets auctioned off isn't supposed to cast a vote. I assume if the clock had passed Day's end and Jon hadn't rescinded in time, he would have been killed off for voting after an auction.

I actually have no idea what you'd do if you were town, since I can't recall a game off the top of my head where you were, but I agree that it fits with your general view towards mafia. It's more the fact that you spend half your post harping about being pro-town, then turn around and say "If you vote for me, fuck you." It's not a particularly good way to win people over. And as I said later in the same post, you're smart enough to know that, which to me suggests that you just don't give a fuck. Which is fine. I may not like the attitude, but I won't lynch you over it.
