I'm still tempted to think Giovanni is playing Ash for his own goals - whether selfish ones, or to fulfill the aims of Team Rocket.

Maybe it is true that they are a black ops branch to the Elite Four, and that Mewtwo is preparing to fuck everyone over, but Giovanni could still be playing the 'father' card to gain Ash's support.

Oz is freakin awesome...the last fight was awesome. I like the plotting too, all the characters have motivations, all of their actions are making sense.
Don't really have any criticisms...can't wait for more.

Yes, but I already knew about Mark Petrie's work, I've been a fan for awhile now. I like listening to "Epic Trailer Music" that he and other groups put out.

 

Two back to back updates make me smile. Mewtwo's character is interesting, he doesn't angst he just tries to deal with everything albeit to the extreme.

 

Mewtwo is badass in a calm, sociopathic type way. And this chapter made Giovanni badass in a "the only one who was able to stop Mewtwo's plans" type way.
