I read all the way up to the latest chapter it gets better but the start is still hard to get into. Changed the rating to a 4.

It took me 3 hours to read the fic with more than a few intervals in the beginning 4-5 chapters. >_>

 

This story deserves fanart.

Misty's Blastoise and Ash's Pikachu fighting the mutant pokemon (not pictured). I added Bulbasaur cause it's my favorite.



You'll remember that Misty mentioned her Blastoise was quite dumb. I think I managed to capture the essence of this in his expression.
