A gameplay from E3.

It's going to be a long wait.

 

Is there a chance were going to get more? I have waited a long time for some gameplay and I expected something a little bit more than 5 minutes.

 

They might release a more meaty trailer later, outside the limits of a hardware manufacturer's press conference.

 

I've a feeling you'll get the Witcher stuff you want at Gamescom, the dev being European based and all.

Maybe, but CDProjekt RED usually keeps a close lid on the trailer front. After E3 a small gameplay trailer will be shown, a longer version will be shown at Gamescom, maybe some special version will be shown at Poznań Game Arena, and thats it. Untill February we will get screenshots, diaries and other stuff like that, and before the premiere we will get the final launch trailer that will turn up the hype machine up to eleven.

Of course, I could be totally wrong and CDProjekt RED will reveal a 30 minutes long gameplay trailer at E3, and another one at Gamescom. But I don't care much, I've already decided to buy this game so I don't need trailers. I'm mostly interested in the voices chosen for new characters - who will dub Ciri and Yennefer.

Also, another question, to all non-Poles. In which language did you play the Witcher games?

 

This time they have to show something a little bit more though, no? Seeing as its an open world, 5 minutes just won't cut it.

English for me. Tried it in Polish in my second playthrough but it just didn't do it for me. Will definitely try this one in Japanese if the VAs are good.

And it reveals that Dijkstra an ex-spymaster and "przyzwoity skurwysyn" is in the game.

 

Holy shit. That's it I'm fine now. I'll wait for Gamescom for more.

 

I'm not sure if that is a good move. We know what happened to Dijkstra in the Saga, even though Novigrad is a free city, he still has enemies in Redania + Fillipa. At least, he looks as he was described. Adam Pangratt in Witcher 2 looked like a redneck from a gym that overuses steroids.

Preordered the Witcher 3 on Steam. Couldn't resist at a $20ish price tag. I wonder if they plan to give a GOG copy for those who purchase on Steam like they did for 1/2.

That's why we are only joking about it. Though I'm pretty sure there will quickly be mods to change that.

 

Eh, they are going to bring back Yennefer? Damn... I was hoping that was just a rumor... oh well.
