An interesting fic, but the sheer amount of adjectives made it somewhat unbearable at the beginning. Like the others before me though it felt as if something was missing, but then again if something were to be added to it, it would become somewhat ungainly (IMHO). After all, one-shots are always meant to portray one thing in all of its glory, a thought, an idea, a scene, and it does its job well enough.

You did an excellent job with your characterizations of everyone. And overall the writing was very good with just a few of those minor random grammar errors that the majority of us never notice. I'm just getting hung up on the same thing that most everyone else is -- I HATE THE FERRET. Anyways its a nice quick read. 4/5

 

I got to admit, I enjoyed the Harry-Draco interaction in this fic, which is really saying something.

Unlike the others, I feel the fic is fine as it is. Nothing extraordinary, but it feels complete to me as a standalone.

As others have said, your characterization is pretty good. You actually managed to make me not hate Malfoy for once.

I'd be very interested to read any of your future HP works.
