Looking for a story where Harry travels back in time, either during a battle between him and Voldemort or as a child, to Albus Dumbledore's time as a student. James Potter's father is a child too, and does not like Harry. I think he's called Charles. Charles and Albus have a sort of rivalry with Harry and a young Fillius Flitwick. Harry is a beater, and helps out Viktor Krum in Bulgaria, but thats all I remember.

Anyone got any ideas?

 

Ah, I know the fic...it's Vicktor's father or grandfather, actually, isn't it? And did't Krum have a sister or something as well?

I'll try and remember the name of the fic, but it's not quite popping into my head at the moment. It was posted in For Review, once upon a time...

I believe some Blacks were also involved and Phineas was Headmaster was he not?

And there was a Hydra, iirc.

And Flitwick was sorta crazy. And Harry was an orphan child who had no memory.

 

Yeah, I meant Viktor's grandfather. Screw up on my part. Phineas was I think, and the hydra was Harry's pet I think. Although it was one that could change size, I believe.

 

Yea, I remember the fic, I just for the life of me can't remember the name, or the name of the author. I think they post, or at least used to post on DLP though. There was the weird hydra that lived inside Harry.

 

Yeah, I think Harry defeated the Hydra at the Shrieking Shack or something? There was a Werewolf involved too, iirc. I think it was shortly after that when I stopped reading...or maybe it stopped being updated?

I know the fic, dang it, I just can't remember it's name. I remember it annoyed me when the author sort of redid things and I kept getting chapters I'd already read in my inbox like new chapters.

Yea, he killed the Hydra in the shrieking shack, and saved a werewolf student. Afaik it was soandso Black, the chick who in canon married Charlus Potter (which we know from the Black family tapestry). She became friends with Harry after that. I think it stopped receiving updates when it was situated around the world dueling championships or something where Dumbledore and Grindelwald showed up as contestants. etc etc

 

It's Zero's fic, and he incorporates the hydra into his body.
