This is a Vaimes townread, Cuth.

Grapefruit, Amy talked about a Waco townread before Vaimes did, I assume he picked it up from her.

Which is to say, not really. But also a tiny bit.

Fluff seems like bored villager to me.

Actually I'm not going to accept the Vaimes read on Fluff as townie yet.

I don't know the full meta on Fluff but if the general idea is what Vaimes said and lazy!Fluff=town!Fluff I'm not sure why that's an assumption that was safe when Vaimes made it. And if that (L!F=T!F) is the case then I think it would point to TMI from Vaimes not be a town indicator for him.

Fluff had made 8 posts when Vaimes set him aside in his wall. 7 of them were after returning from an absence and within the 24 hours before Vaimes made his wall. Yes there is some joking and it's not an inspiring slate of posts and there are some decent questions, but unless there is something I'm missing meta-wise I can't see being comfortable with locking in that meta read based on that flurry. Am I completely off base with regards to how readable Fluff is?

I'm also going to take that a step further and say Grape is probably not w/w with Vaimes.

Okay I don't disagree but wouldn't that be a reason for Vaimes to be scum? Not one of the towniest things he's done? Same with the Fluff read?

    Q: Why so brusque?
A: Attempting to limit wordcount for fatigue purposes.

Well, I mostly just want the lump for style points.

That said I do understand the responsibilities that come with it. I had good reads as Lagoon once when I more or less lurked through all of Day 1 so maybe if I digest content after the first phase, I'll feel at least somewhat better about my accuracy. I get too attached to nebulous Day 1 reads ime.

I'm coming around to that idea, I'm mostly just baffled by Fonti saying that read is the towniest thing Vaimes has done.

I think that considering lump "a second yeet" is reductive even if that's how it's used. There's more to it than that and I think considerations should be made beyond "is X person 2nd wolfiest".

Not to say Vaimes isn't a good target.

If I'm a villager, I think fluff is loosely town.

If I'm scum, I know how scummy it is to push fluff Day 1 as someone who's played a lot with him.

It's the same no matter what so trying to finger-wag me with "oH nO iT's TmI" is just white noise.

It was more of a commentary on "doing it for style points"; you only get style points if you're a wolf and you get lumped instead of yeeted lol.
