I really, really, really don't understand why people were being terrible and even considering Kai as scum.

He was one of the only people actually trying to do anything the entire game.

Ollie, Zennith, yeah, I understood that.

Are you kidding me? Kai was the second scummiest in this game, after Lungs.

 

Uh. Not even remotely.

Ash was the scummiest player in the game by significant amounts, but it's like people don't even read her posts.

Kai was the only person who was actively trying to do anything that helped town, but people couldn't connect the dots that he was trying to cram down their throats with a sledgehammer.

I really have zero idea how you can consider his play this game scummy.

If you're sure on something, then build and push the case on them.

Instead of just mentioning it off-handedly while lynching someone else.

Quote posts that are scummy, propose theoretical scum teams that work with her, and lay it out logically.

Being passive doesn't get anyone lynched, and being active is not a scummy thing to do, no matter what people seem to think.

 

Ugh... his day 1 and 2 were very unhelpful so I don't know what you're saying there. Most of his votes were unexplained, a few of his posts were trollish and he lurked too. Considering who he is, that's scummy as fuck.

As for not connecting the dots he wanted to cram down our throat, if you're referring to his questions, then he wasn't using a sledgehammer at all. They weren't the most subtle ever, but I don't think I would have caught the hidden meaning even if I had not temporarily forgotten about the existence of the Oracle role (/me facepalms).

Also, he asking me if I was pied still makes very little sense and is very scummy. I would have believed his roleclaim much more easily if he had come out and said that directly.

 

How would scum even have a clue if you were pied?

He obviously checked you night two, got a match - the same night that menace was targeted by the night kill and angel protection.

So you were targeted by one of two things on night two - the priest check, or the pie throw. He had no way of knowing which, so asked if it was pie throw to determine which world we were in. If it had been priest check, it meant there was a decent chance Priest was still alive, which probably would have led to a different course of action.

If you were targeted with a pie, then it'd have confirmed him as oracle because... there's just no conceivable way other than like 1/11 randomness that scum could know that.

 

Everyone is mad now but no one lynched her.

Fail.

 

What was scummy was the first part. As in asking every player pied from night 1 to 3 to come forward. When he specifically asked me if I had been pied on night 2, in fact, I answered it (even though I was still thinking about the Clown instead of the Oracle at the time). Then I admittedly remained too hung up on that.

 

I think he was hoping you'd get the drift without him outright asking it.

Making Stuff Happen is the way to make other people see what you're seeing - Just going 'whelp i guess maybe person x is kind of scummy and i wouldn't mind terribly if we were to lynch them at some unidentified point in future' does roughly 0.

It's not by chance that everyone, even dead people with more info, continued to think you were a witch even during the endgame, or whatever passed for the endgame in this TinyHunt 2.

 

And what have we learned from this? Trolling on the first day makes you look scummy for the rest of the game.

Also, Eido. You need to separate your in-game knowledge from mod knowledge. What you're doing here is judging a bunch of blind men on their dancing skills. You may be good at this game, but you know as well as everyone else that it's a lot harder to be sure of your scumreads when there's so much trolling going on.
