Citrus, what are your thoughts on lynching between Waco, Taure, Newcomb and Cobalt?

A bit of friendly advice, Waco: basically every single one of your posts in this entire game has been directed at me. You might like to address the other players at some point.

I don't think anyone is going to be much convinced by your rather weak arguments against me, so if you are town, it's time to get serious about your own defence.

I mean really Taure, you've spent the entire game letting your vote be dragged around by other people. Nae'blis, than to Sesc when because "it was a strong bandwagon," even tho you ranked him as least likely to be scum, and back to Nae'blis because Sesc wagon didn't have the votes you thought it did.

Today, you let yourself be dragged to be #5 on Sesc, after taking ages circling around an obvious conclusion, and again #5 on me, after sheeping the weakest of reads on something you claim to have been indifferent about...

    Spare me

I think someone earlier in the thread talked about how a classic scum tactic is to give information rather than analysis.

This would seem to be a prime example. Everyone is well aware of my vote history, and the reasons for said votes have been well discussed.

Why should I be defensive exactly? My best weapon at this point is to go down anonymously and make your life harder

I /think/ I strongly prefer Waco or Taure, and then it goes from there.

So like Waco/Taure >>> Cobalt > Newcomb (Newcomb included for completion)

Ah, classic scum tactic there Taure, misdirection and changing the narrative. Why focus on the fact that you've been more concerned about getting mis-lynches than actually hunting for scum?

Hmm. I'm considering swapping to Taure. Do you have any reasons for or against that?

There are plenty of ways to defend yourself without role-claiming.

Nothing concrete. I think I'm still leaning towards Waco, but I'm watching their conversation right now.

To borrow words, they are BOTH doing the Information but not Analysis thing in my opinion.

For PoE purposes at this point, there are very few reason why a lynch might be moved off of me at this point even if I am town. 1) Claiming, which isn't in the cards or 2) Being able to prove there's another person who's more likely to be scum than myself.

Neither of those involve being defensive. I'm going to do my best to make sure that if I am the player who dies toDay, that I make sure the remaining scum follow me soon

So far as I see, Waco's main argument against me is:

    A) He says I'm role fishing.

    B) He wants me to justify my read post, and if I don't then I'm "sheeping".

This is a fundamentally inconsistent position. If Waco really cares about preventing soup, he won't ask me to justify my reads. And yet he is. If anyone is role fishing here, it seems to be Waco.

I'm saying have a reason for your reads/votes other than "that person said so"

If someone like Cobalt or fontisian tells me to justify my read post in full, I will. But I'm not going to do so because Waco demands it.

I'm fully aware of certain players situations right now, but they're not the ones who should be considered for being lynched today.

The entire basis is a series of guesses about people's roles. I can't do it partially because it's all interlinked.

You have Typhon/I as equally probable for a scum spot, but you barely mentioned either of us at all in the game.

The major thing against lynching Taure I had coming into today was I didn't want a Nae'blis round 2, but I'm less worried about that now /I think/

That's a pretty lame excuse to justify not justifying anything

It seems like a pretty fucking great reason, actually.
