Elaborate, unless you don't think it would be useful.

Go on, unless there's a specific player you'd like to shunt that question to.

    Found it!

I was catching up around 3am last night and something stuck out to me as super scummy, but when I woke up I couldn't remember anything about the post except that it existed. And I found it:
This is not town!Sesc. This is scum!Sesc think about souping people. There is no world where town!Sesc would want to lynch Bill or have him leeroy. He posted this because was thinking the numbers needed to soup that would help him win.

---------- Post automerged at 01:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:43 AM ----------

Also, considering that Delphine was most likely mafia, the fact that he wanted to force the issue on Bill instead of figuring out the next biggest wagon is telling.

---------- Post automerged at 01:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:44 AM ----------

    Hey.

    Hey Tom.

    Explain this to me.

---------- Post automerged at 01:47 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:46 AM ----------

I literally think the team is just Delphine/Sesc/Tom.

    Boop, done.

I'm an honest and suspicious human being who finds it difficult to put anyone in a game based largely on deceit and trickery inside my metaphorical bubble-wrap of trust-worthiness. I much prefer to pick up on Bad Things and then tunnel scum under the table. I try though, because PoE is useful in limiting the scope of my investigations and because everyone else likes it so much.

Incidentally, this is why I like being scum.

    ---------- Post automerged at 00:49 ---------- Previous post was at 00:48 ----------

    That was not very useful.

    I'm going to sleep.

For completeness, tom/sesc should tell me about the town!Delphine, scum!font worlds. Unless they don't feel like it.

@font Pretty sure I explained the delph-jan connection like 500 posts ago. It was part of my rainbow wall IIRC.
Do you have any reads if delph was town, or is that not a thing youre considering?
Serious question, as I've never played without flips before.
Atum I think yesterday went great. We got check/claim/lynch on 3 of my top 4 suspects.
Also love the rhymes, but you're going to give poor thug flashbacks.

    I mean, I don't...
But I'm also not sure how they're related?
towndelph makes scumjan less likely, so just numbers wise it makes font more likely scum I guess.

I support citric paranoia. Just fyi.

Hey guys fontis is just town.

I guess she could doing the thing where she's pretending to be the thing that she isn't but I don't think that's what's going on here.

At this point I'm pretty good at reading fonti town no matter her actual alignment, so let's roll with that.

You can direct any queries about this to my secretary and I'll get on that asap.

I count 11 alive (since we started with 13 and two have died)?

Eh, you mean #706? I got the same feeling reading only that post when I caught up on the end of day yesterday, but thinking about it again in context, what town would be happy to just sit there and get lynched without trying to do anything useful at the end of the day? Ignoring the complete lack of a defence, we didn't get any updated thoughts on the players, no one Delphine wanted us to look at in more detail today etc...

So didn't get a chance to read through D1 in full yesterday (tennis and football finals happened), but going off of memory for a summary of where I am at with people in general at the end of D1:

Atum - didn't really get personally why people were townreading atum for his start of D1, but they seem to be meta reads. Disliked the vote being on me and then disappearing for basically the rest of the day without doing anything more. BD derp is null for me, he was away for so long that it could well have been faked. So overall - lean scummy

Bill Door - conf town since no leeroy on him happened

Delphine - starting posts were null, liked the wall post but take bill's point about the lack of action towards fonti, and definitely disliked the lack of action at EoD - leaning scum

Fontisian - don't really remember anything concrete since she wasn't as present towards the last day of D1 when I was mostly around, don't remember anything from before that sticking out majorly to me apart the atum read but the response to that was fairly good - leaning town

Jan - eh from my ISO, I actually found Jan scummy, but the whole bold softing is something I still can't square with scum making, and I liked some of the later responses to my questions - town

    KaiDASH - ??? non-entity D1 to me

Mallorean Thug - liked the tone of their early posts, which got weaker when they disappeared from the thread for a day. Didn't really spend much time considering them EoD D1 because I got a bit annoyed with them and wasn't sure I could be objective. Got lumped anyway - (null/lean town from my read alone, town if no priest claim)

Reaverb Tau/Citrus - didn't get a read on Reaverb before they got replaced, Citrus didn't do that much that I recall EoD since they were still catching up - null

Sesc - was ill? Don't really remember much that stuck out to me either way on Sesc - null

Snowvon - think Von is likely town from the way he's playing/his tone - town

The Waco Kid - liked what I saw from his pushes/play - confirmed town from NK

Tom - liked the general tone of his play, but the Jan/Delphine insistence towards EoD is something I still don't get, even after his read wall - lean town

    Vote: kai

KaiDASH, why is Sesc a witch?

Okay, going back to reread Sesc/Citrus/Atum now.

Argh, my internet is unbearably slow for some reason. Even this "reply to thread" page took 2 minutes to fully load. Not helping my re-read. Will try again this evening and hope it's better then.

I agree on Tom, not 100% sure about Sesc. Could also be Citrus imo.

This votal is fun if you assume delphine scum. There's no way town tom isn't lumping himself. We lynch Tom, Citrus, sesc in some order and win?

12 votes alive, 11 players alive. Mallorean Thug has the panda. The panda functions as another player for vote overrun.

@BD: Because I recall a plethora of EoD shenanigans here and wanted to make sure there was no question as to a successful lynch on the mutally agreed target. At the same time, I was coming into the thread having missed ~300 posts, wherein Delphine's activity had apparently picked up and my read on her was still extremely underdeveloped.

    @Kai: What's a pet read? Sounds unfomfortable/fun.

@Wei: how does your readwall lead to a KaiDASH vote?

tom: Can you give an update to your reads on Jan and Kai?

Hey, this university I'm attending for a week probably doesn't have wifi, so I may be LA and playing on a borrowed phone for this Day phase. Having friends is wonderful for times like these.

Just wanna say I'm happy with the direction the thread is going atm.

    Holy fuck muffins.

This is your reasoning for pushing the Delphine/Jan world? This? A fucking lack of a lump vote, when Delphine was clearly reluctant to do anything, and an interaction that looks so far from bussing it's absurd. And you latched onto this and pushed it for literal days? Bitch, please.

    Quick question:
Why the hell should I have wanted to be lumped?
I think someone else already said this (might have been jan actually, but whatever) but I already know my alignment so that don't help me solve shit at all.
The extra vote/having a panda part is cool, but the investigation is useless to me.
    Am I missing something?

And yes font, I latch onto little things. That's how I do.
That preemptive attack on my early sesc townread is still a big part of why I think jan is scum. And that one post is still why I think sesc is probably town.
You can disagree, but when I see stuff like that it sticks.

Ok. Please enlighten us all on why Atum is a witch then. You are aware that most people town read Atum right? Surely that is a high priority for you to convince them otherwise?

I have no idea what KaiDASH is doing, as either town or scum. Hence the vote and the prodding.

Still not fully caught up wrt D1, my internet is still being annoyingly slow and unhelpful when I am trying to reread different pages. Ping me if you want me to see/talk anything particular and I'll try and read it on my phone tomorrow when I go to the library. Giving up on this for today.

    @Wei
I'm in full agreement with you there.
Scumreading Atum is an absolutely ridiculous thing for town to be doing, especially with making no effort to convince anyone.
But I can't see a reason to do it as scum either. He's obviously not getting lynched today. Maybe just to avoid talking about real things?
But that doesn't make sense either because kai seems to have cultivated a rep where he never has to talk about real things.
