    I think this soup indicates the scum team doesn't know what they're doing, which kind of eliminates a lot of people.

    Have a thing I did while procrastinating real life stuff today. It's not incredibly useful (less insight than I was hoping for, honestly), but I still did it so ehh.

    ~~~~~~~
    Miner interations (not bothering with those that have to do with me, Snow, or Q, except to say he pushed me and townread them):
    Jan: |||+?|
    Math: ||-||
    Fluff: ||---?-?
    Koalas: ||||||
    Waco: |||||
    RegTurtle: --Ly-?-?|-||
    Kai: ||
    Jarizok: |||+?
    fonti: |||+?|
    Key: | neutral, + positive, - negative, Ly Lynch Vote, Lu Lump Vote, x? committed but soft x
    Interesting points that I noted while reading:
    1) Miner was in full defense mode when the negatives on Fluff began.
    2) Miner doesn't give a read on Waco, but had a tendency to be pretty response to any of his questions (don't think he missed any, although I didn't check)
    Conclusions:
    1) On the reread, Miner was clear scum. Would more or less bet the game on that.
    2) His sensitivity to Waco despite never giving a read on him is/was troubling.
    3) The Fluff thing started after Miner was flailing. So either that's bussing, or he was grasping for someone else to hang. Don't think he pushed hard enough for the second, but that's a thin ass gut call.
    4) He also talked an odd amount with Kalas, but that's resolved today either way (unless our priest is teh deds) so not quibbling over that
    5) Pretty neutral on Math despite what was going on in the thread
    Koalas is probably town, since the Coven apparently didn't seem to care about Priesthunting.
    miner going down first + another Witch getting Lumped = D1 probably would have gone down a lot differently.
    LOL
    Well done for bringing Miner home, all. Especially Regfan. I think a failed Soup means the gamestate is pretty figured out, and definitely confirms Miner was scum.
    Also, my last posts that I slipped in before the end of day 1 about pushing back on the Mathblade run (which had basically dissipated by the time they came through, but ah well), weren't meant to agree with Regfan on Math being null. I still think/thought that they were no.2/close 3, which is why they were my Lump vote, I just found the way that wagon developed vs. Miners as being suspicious.
    Combined with the night,
    Vote Mathblade
    Typhon you had something you wanted me to remind you, but I honestly don't remember what it was.
    Whilst we need to be very, very, very careful about actual role discussion (like, soup is probably the only way we lose from here), I think identifying whatever led to the soup attempt could be a very useful tell in who is scum. Probably need Jan to chime in there.
    Going to be a bit inactive tonight, heading to a friends.
    There's a section at the top saying I ignored me, Q, and Snow. For several reasons which I assumed were obvious.
    Also yeah, based on what Kai said, this attempting Soup looks bad for Math. And I guess Jarizok.
    Everyone else kinda knows what they're doing.
    One thing someone should check is regfan.
    Is there a likely chance that scum!regsfan played like this because he wanted the towncred for bussing miner hard?
    Explanation :
    When regfan subbed in mathblade was the runaway lynch and the thread consensus was down with it.
    When he gave his reads he
    a. made a big case on miner (who was the lump at the time)
    b. said he was unsure about mathblade.
    sure he might just be right with all that as town, but ..
    how good would he look if we just misslynch mathblade and scum!miner gets lumped.
    when the wagons swapped over to miner, the only way to make sure he would get the cred for the miner bus was?
    miner being obvious mafia at EoD.
    I have trouble believing that miner was obvious mafia for no good reason at all. They wanted some info. maybe only info for the comming soup attempt or both that and giving towncred for their deep wolf.
    Not saying regfan is scum .. but i am saying people should be careful about that one.
    On another note. Jarizok :
    Why did you think I am likely town yesterday?
    Did you think I was softing dob at one point early on?
    Asking for a friend.
    There is a good chance that we might just be in a very very good spot .. but I want those two things to be doublechecked.
    For now my towns are
    Snowvon
    Typhon
    Mathblade
    Fontisian
    Koalas if there is no priestclaim today.
    in that order, i think.
    Q
    Jari
    Reg
    are all three towny .. but the other people are almost always town for me.
    Please talk me through the two points I made .. thanks!
    Discussing Koalas alignment is an entirely pointless thing to do, we just wait for everyone to have posted; we've already had near half the playerlist so it shouldn't take too much longer. I similarly think discussing the scums soup attempt should also hold of us knowing Koalas alignment; I have a few thoughts on the matter I'll provide then.
    Mathblade is scum. Note how even when Miner was the other wagon, Mathblade never made any real case on him, and jumped over only after the day was over. Furthermore look at the tone change as the wagon is pushed off of her.
    Jesus christ Jan, you should have waited before posting that. I didn't want the fact that Jari had "role reasons" to think you're town brought up until a) He'd posted and b) We'd know Koalas alignment. You've just given him thinking time if he's scum.
    Why regfan?
    Look at his entrance. How Mathblade is conspicuously absent from his catch-up wall, but he pushes the lynch off anyway. Despite claiming there is a real case on Mathblade in #904 amongst others. Magically by end of day he's lifted Mathblade all the way to a null in #1024.
