Like, I didn't /hate/ it. But I never really got the townreads. I'd have expected new town in their first hunt to be scared shit less of soup, not making jokes about it.

I didn't think he'd be so brazen to make a post like that openly as mafia. I also think the timing of it being when he had spare time and had posted all his reads in the thread kind of make sense as town "Doing it for fun'. Considered it one of the townier things in the thread at the time but as the day progressed kept being one of the very few things I liked of his and was never comfortable adding him to the level of you/q/koalas/von.

Yeah, I backed off of reading him town to that level after D1, but I still would have quibbled over Jan/Waco before I was all aboard the Jari lynch train (assuming I had to pick now - pretty sure I'd have reevaluated eventually).

I was fairly confident on the read until N1, and reaffirmed it a bit with the Math reread.

Typhon - Agree with wanting this over before Newbcomb goes to bed. I think I could have sold you on Waco never being with Math & probably Math genuinely believing Jan was DOB. That said I think I wouldn't have thrown down a vote on Jari until I did a big reread.

Yeah, it wouldn't have been terribly hard for you to sell me on it not being Waco - I was incredibly sure it was Fluff precisely because I didn't see anyone else.

Probably a little confirmation bias because I thought it was Fluff, but that Math to Jari thing that I quoted you earlier felt very, very similar to where she reached to townread Kalas right off the line, and townread Q for something that was ehh from him.

The Jan thing was just a lingering paranoia world - couldn't imagine anyone letting Math just do their thing wrt soup without a plan for how to spin it if they were wrong, but if Math/Jari had talked it out and concurred I can actually see it perfectly.
