One of the main things I remember about TH6 was that I (rightly or wrongly) felt like the walls had completely closed in by the fact that my scumbuddy was likely going to be lumped while I was likely getting lynched. As such I'm a bit confused by the merits of trying to target townreads for lump (well, besides the one softed priest check without them having to out it), particularly because there definitely seem to be town roles that it's somewhat suboptimal if they're lumped.

I'm not even sure if it's a good thing for anybody to too directly respond to this; it's probably something I should've thought about more in pregame. I guess I would like to help position town to be able to smell that same fear from scum via lump wagons, but I feel like I have a different concept of what scum-motivated play around the lump is than most of the thread, which concerns me that I'm going to read into other people's motivations incorrectly.

My understanding of lumping a villager (me) is they get checked and therefore we're ~garaunteed a clear without outing the cop and they hopefully get another use.
Like, if they hit red n2 it's probably worth claiming with a living clear and a wolf on a platter?
You lump a wolf and they get checked and any competent wolf team should have a pretty small cop poe even if they don't out.

Is that about right?
