Okay home! Gave to deal with a phone call from someone pretty shortly, then sort out dinner but then I'll be ready to get to this properly. Kind of thought this would be ezgameezlyfe when seeing the playerlist, probably still think it's more likely to be a win than not but I'm getting more and more worried that most of the scum team fit inside players that sort of know how to sort of play around me and get me to be less likely to lynch them particularly D1 areas which is kind of eh and not a great place to be at, but I'll speak more on that if I still feel the same way after reading through the game.

Would say that I'm pretty much always a very serious player, dislike most of the fluff / trolling type stuff and just focus on reads / playing / winning the game. Think you're looking for a different word than serious though, maybe tense? And if so, then no, but I've got some stuff currently going on that's going to have me more on-edge and less tolerant of people playing certain ways this game, will try and reign that in a bit though.

I mean, gut reads are reads that you can't quite explain and kind of exist intangibly in an unspoken place, right? I have reads that I can't really explain properly still I think, but that's usually just because my brain is stuck at that particular point in time, or because I haven't thought about it enough yet. When I get a feeling about something now, I investigate it, and figure out what it is. I closed all my rooms in the intangible land. If I can't explain something, it's not a read. There is no gut read.

Kind of think this is necessary to happen for me this game for a lot of reasons.

I like Cobalt’s tone. Nice and relaxed and stuff. The Amy read seems super premature, but I’m not sure how serious that was, nor do I know how well they’re acquainted.

@Cobalt How is lumping Vaimes a pocket attempt?

The rainbow list is pretty pointless, but I like the enthusiasm. Maybe town are more likely to plop down a pointless super early readslist unprompted?

The ‘until you make me paranoid’ line hits just the right spot for me as well for some reason.

I’m comfortable with towning Cobalt rn.

Sorry Reg, I'll try to keep my trolling at a minimum, at least where you're concerned.

    No.

There are 120 hours in the day phase. Give her time.

    What reasons, though?

One reason among others is prolly; I don’t trust myself to read her correctly.

Thanks, it's more just a case of I'll need to step back and center myself a bit at times I think but otherwise I'll be okay.

Hum, I'm not sure I understand your stance here. Think you'll agree with me that the biggest chance of a scum win in this game/playerlist is probably with a Scum!Fonti roll, knowing her alignment is pretty uh, useful in that sense since it'll either kill any thoughts/paranoia of her being scum, or outright catch here, both are pretty helpful. Other big thing is that I have some uh ~reads~ and ~thoughts~ that are effectively X is town unless they've been coached to say Y/Z with the only real person here I think that would coach them to say those specific things are Fonti, so uh, confirmation that she's town sort of strengthens those reads, and if she's scum it'll give me a better place to focus.

(I'm a believer that the lump should be used on a null read not a scum read -- or someone you don't think you can get around to reading confidently; I don't think I'm terrible at reading her and I can sometimes get to her alignment confidently, but most of the time that's based on flips or interactions or something like that, in a flipless game it's going to be much harder to read her alignment than most other players in the game, thus lumping there is pretty useful for me).

Yeah, I still think Ampharos is town based on a reread, kind of like the 'theory on toms ranges' type comment; think it's the type of thing/thought process that comes significantly more often from town than scum. I also agree with the reasoning that someone else brought up re; the sheer amount of thoughts and genuine-ness of them when discussing lump usage here sort of removes the possibility of him being in a scum team with someone that knows the setup and would have mentioned how it works, world where he was coached to say it all from Fonti does exist but doesn't feel super likely here since I think the whole reasoning behind the town read on Fonti probably doesn't come from a partner there and I like a lot of the thought process behind it. All up a read I feel p good about at the moment.

Have no thoughts on Unami, Fluff, Fonti at all.

Don't have many thoughts on Citrus other than kind of want to town read the whole "would have cried if I drew scum again" but that's pretty shitty reasoning and I've been burnt by using it before so slots into the null pile too.

Everyone else I'm looking at after my phone call.

Im similar sorta, but more geared towards just players. Definitely came in with a pool of, like, grape/fonti/you/gemma i wanted to lump into as people that even if im townreading im relieved when they get nightkilled.

Okay I'm back and tucking in for the rest of the ISO's.

Town read on Cobalt is weaker than what it was earlier; like where most of his reads/heads but that's about it?

@Gemma - I'll ditto's Tom question, I'd like to know why out of all players you wanted to talk about him.
    --- Post automerged ---
Talk about the italized for me please? Feels like a weird thought for you to have? Kind of think Town! You expects me and possibly Fonti too (Don't know if you think her reading skills of you IRL translates to forum mafia or not anymore?) to read you correctly if we're both town, and in worlds where just one of us is scum also read you correctly since you'd consider yourself unmslynchable. So uh, yeah, words on that please.

Weak scum read on you from your early posting here is mostly that there feels like there's a missing spark that I'd expect if you rolled town in a game with Fonti and myself; something you've been wanting for a while. Feels sort of almost deflated. Your "Vaimes can also be mafia" and vote on Ampharos were both ??? for me and given that when we're both town normally I can follow where your heads at, the lack of that is kind of eh, not great. Pretty much I look at most of your posting here and can't really see that much in depth thought process or anything that makes me think that my initial impressions wrong? I imagine if you're town it'll come and I'll eventually see it give D1s just started but if you're scum I'm claiming cred for the early catch.

Town read on Vaimes is mostly that I think tonally this is matching a lot more of his town game, and not really similar to last game at all, I liked his read/vote on you and think it's an angle he's less likely to take as mafia, I like his most recent Deja Vu comment too. I like his campaigning to get lumped, It's a read I feel good about given how little into the day phase we are.
    --- Post automerged ---
I kind of think Grapes self-lump vote timing and the reasoning behind "Wanting to be cleared, thinking he's more of a mslynchable player in this game" flows pretty well and think he's probably town bar a world where he's been coached to do that from Fonti -- is a part of the reason I want her to be lumped here and find her alignment; I think if she's scum she tells a partner new to the setup to do /exactly/ that "act like you want to be lumped" since I think she'd know/think it's something I'd town read too. Outside of that little thoughts on the rest of his posting I guess.

@Gemma - Come join me here, your absence since my explanation behind why lumping Fontisian here is making me paranoid that it's a Fonti+Gemma wolf world and you're waiting on directions/instructions on her before locking yourself into agreeing it's a good idea / +EV move. Pls.

Over 3000. I actually don't have a read on her posts at all, but sort of a PoE / gamestate analysis makes me think the world where she's scum is probably in the ~35%ish range and in that world I think we're in the most trouble whereas if she's town here we're in a pretty solid position since she'll be able to make sure people use actions / play properly which is needed in this. With so many people not really being experienced with TinyHunts or leaders I think if I get NK'ed she might just win if she's scum without having to break too much of a sweat.

Mostly just don't have a real read on him atm and want that to not be a thing. I don't think there was any kind of logical thing behind it, I was just thinking about Cobalt and was curious whether Jari was thinking any of the same things as me. Trying to remind myself that agreeing with people is a good way to read them, although I know that's not always going to apply when it comes to Jari.

Yeah no real read on Amberiat coming out of his ISO. Going to lave Jarizok & Tom for tomorrow.

I'm here for about another twenty minutes Gemma, would like to actually converse with you about something during that time, I've dumped some thoughts re; lumping Fontisian, some thoughts re; my read and headspace on you, where I'm at with most other places with some reasoning dumped on some of them. Pick something of that and talk to me since otherwise we won't be able to talk for another ~24 hours.
