I get impatient in the middle of asking questions and turn them into statements or speculation. I was going to ask about why you voted Ampharos which you did answer. Obviously my speculation was off base.

Also, the level to which Ampharos and Amberiat both addressed the concept of Lump makes me even more ready to believe that they are both town. If either of them were witches with any experienced DLPers, they'd know that the standard play is for Priest, Clown and Oracle to pop off on the Lump target and would probably either discuss the potential for mechanical plays involving Lump targeting, or be less likely to talk about what could potentially happen if we give Lump to a witch.

Either way, I feel good about putting them in villa territory for the time being.

It’s not so much a fake derpclear as it is just a natural instinct. Thought process goes something like this:

Scum make the night kill. Thinking about who dies at night is scum’s job. I’m pretending to be town. Nightkilling is non of my business. Stay away from talking about night kills.

The disconnect there is that even though townies don’t make the NKs, we obviously still play around them. It’s an easy oopsie to make and I’ve seen these things happen a bunch, so I’ll roll with it.

Like, scum still have to fake consideration for the NK, but they make the NK so it doesn’t come natural and it gets forgotten in the mix of things.

Jari, idk what to tell you except that the less sleep I have the dumber I get. Forgetting to account for "they could just kill [insert player here]" is something I've done before and will do again.

Intentionally PR-blasting lump's friend is certainly not something that ever occurred to me and seems like a way more exciting way to come around to a locktown lump (or a free lynch on a witch!)

ANYWAYS so the reason I was hoping fonti would come back BEFORE I went to bed was because I thought how she approached me was a good look for her, but I wanted the lump thing to reach a conclusion before I posted that.

"But Amy, anyone can play the 'look at me I'm helping the newbie learn mechanics card'! Why would that make someone villagery?"

Fonti's first reaction to me posting my theory was to immediately ask me why I thought that, without giving anything away with regards to whether or not she thought I was correct, or any assistance along that path. I get the feeling she was legitimately trying to figure out whether those thoughts where my own, if I was being coached in any way, and whether or not those thoughts originated from a villager's perspective.

Tl;dr "she was solving".
