In that case I'm gonna need you to find someone else to bet the game on so I can figure out if you're being sincere or not glgl.

I suppose I've heard worse ideas.

Most of them are mine, in fact.

Sure but scum being aware of trying not to talk about them and then mechanically speculating as if they don't exist in an effort to try and not talk about them is absurdly convoluted. It's just not a thing. And I don't really think you'd believe it was a thing and vote based on it.

Counterpoint: it's such a weird left-field read and it's so obviously a weird left-field read that I think it's more likely to come from town than scum, regardless of whether or not it makes sense (it doesn't).

Yeah I'm just going to keep hipfiring reads/thoughts at work until I get time to actually devote to this tonight and then do a big re-read of everything then and post where I'm actually at.

Amys super likely town, really like the reasoning behind that read on Fonti even if I don't fully agree with it (I think that's very much in Fontis range to fake/do), few other posts of theirs I remember liking too. I /think/Cobalts town here, most of his thoughts and reactions to thinks seem to be pretty similar to mine so far but been burnt by him using relatively similar reasoning in WH8 which makes me less confident in that read.

Toms continuing to feel weird here. Him trying to say he's got a read on me based on my first post here has me just going ???????? since I don't really think he thinks he can read me this early in the game, or based on a post like that at all? Can sort of see it being him pre-emptiving a push towards him as scum and trying to go for an early de-credit but then think he'd possibly take a different avenue after seeing that not work in the past. Eh. Useless rambling.

@tom - Talk to me about your read/thoughts on my initial post pls

The idea behind it isn't that left field. Just the execution. Low confidence Scum avoiding talking about scummy topics is a real-ish thing. The extent to which he implied it isn't really.

Yeah, there's a difference between "weak scum will avoid uncomfortable topics" and "weak scum will straight-up ignore the fact that nightkills exist".

    @Vaimes

Lumping you is a waste because your alignment becomes obvious pretty quickly. This is why you should lump me, I'll even let you be my vice-lump-person then

The "how witches treat lump" subgame is a fun thing to figure out, but definitely seems easier to just get reads off the people new to the concept (and then get fucked by, like, regulars that just forgot to explain that or some bullshit) than the people that knew coming in.

Let me just say about jari that neither point or counterpoint moves the needle for me one iota.
Both of you should consider reading him however you try to read me

I've got little patience with bullshit coming into this game already so I really suggest you think before responding with something useless again to this question; Please explain your read/thoughts on my first post here. I need to be able to see if there's anything remotely genuine about it because it's not how I think you treat or read me at all.

Reg what are you talking about?

My reaction to your first post was literally "not moving my vote elsewhere"

If i wanted to delve into it further a) i would have b) id be wasting my time prolly.

Im not sure how this is a "how i treat you" at all. I have no idea how im going to treat you. i dont really expect to move you more than a few percentage points from rand in either direction at any point but thats more caution than an approach.

Um, I haven't even given a read on you so I don't understand what you're talking about there. Add another notch to people who don't know how to read my tone, I guess. Kind of depressing coming from you honestly.

Why is that a bad look for Grape?

What is the Thing about Lump?
