Now that I've finish reading most of the recommendation you guys gave me on my last story search, I decided to create another thread and maybe have some recommendations for a Tom Riddle / Lord Voldemort-centric fic.

What I am looking for is fic that describe the ascension of Voldemort either through his school year (those would require a very good characterization since Hogwarts tends to get boring now) or his story when he left Hogwarts and travel, etc.

I've read a couple of fic which are TR centric already and I actually have a community with those I found to be the best (some of them are out-dated but eh I haven't clean it up!) so whatever is in there I've read so please don't rec

Great one-shot by a fantastic author. AU, though, so it's not exactly what you're looking for.

 

Ye I haven't read it yet but it is on my to-do list. I think it is in the WbA section no? I might be getting confuse with all the browsing I've been doing recently

That's exactly what I've been looking for actually; the fact that it is AU doesn't matter much and is actually a pretty good exploration of Tom Riddle as a Hufflepuff. What I can't stand are those fic where Tom falls in love with some OC that is simply perfect, breaks his heart and he becomes cold and want to kill everyone.

AU don't bother me at all and are a piece of fresh air since some of them have some pretty nice idea.

I've been looking for a story like this for quite a while now, with no real success. So if you find anything, do post it for us.

Everything I've found worth is in my community which I posted in my first post so if you want to take a look at it feel free. I really liked The Ceremony, Of Snakes and Foxes and Riddle's War mostly because the characterization is truly amazing in all of those fics

 

In For Review. Usually not my type of story, but I highly recommend it. The author has several other Tom Riddle stories, but I can't comment on their quality.
