There appears to be a measure of a double standard. Allegedly, from Nukular Winter, Vash likes to whip out the banstick for mentioning the Incident-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named, and necro-ing is largely despised. I broke both of those rules, and was accordingly punished (not with the banstick for the Incident-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named, I edited that post, so I just got some negrep) Both of these are rules. Is there a reason why having too many/large (depending upon how you look at it, thank you Jeram) pictures, which may be taxing on weaker connections, is better than mentioning the Incident-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named?

One rule is not equal to another rule and the consequences for each rule are dependent upon incident, case, involvement, etc.

The pictures according to most, are humorous - rotflol even; I generally even edit them down for the rule. But a few slip through and believe it or not, that isn't as grievous as bringing up an issue that divides the forum greatly - the PottersPlace 3 incident.

You seem keen on pointing out on the forum's flaws/oddities (ie "Trash Bin" and double-standards) but step back a second, and ask yourself - who are you to question them. You just joined. The forum works fine, no one complains about the trash bin and the only person who found extreme merit with my pictures is you. At least be apart of the forum for awhile and try to understand the system before questioning it's working parts.

We tell new members that Surrarin, in the intro thread so that they know what not to do. This, we tell new members that so you can just stfu argument doesn't hold any ground. NEW members are told that, not new members telling other members to look at the rules, when the rule that he is trying to "enforce" is one that is continually broken and has been for a long time. If it was a problem don't you think it would have been adressed before now? I would have expected Japanese_Jew to realize that it happens and that if it was a problem, an admin or mod would have put a stop to it.

There is a difference between telling someone not to Necro or double post and telling someone who posts pictures on a regular basis that they can't do that. On that topic, I seem to have seen at LEAST 5 fucking posts telling him he's not a moderator, so again, throw it out the window.

This is not an into thread and you are adressing something that I said to Japanese_Jew that he never voiced a problem with.
