Harry's going to 1971 or something and becoming his father's brother. Interesting.

 

Well, its offical... he couldn't keep the fucking Hermione fluf out of the other story eather... too bad, it had the potental to actually not suck

 

Well. I thought Redux was pretty damn awful since the start, but I thought I could read Re-Ordered. These last two chapters have proven me oh so wrong. It's bloody awful. It seems that the author can't get past how Harry thinks Hermione is the prettiest girl on the planet. You can just about see a vague semblance of a clichéd plot if you look between the massive paragraphs of discussion. For example, he spends several lines discussing how her figure went from sexy, yet perfect, to beautiful an more perfect. He's obsessed with figures and numbers for women, and spent a fair bit describing the similarities between 3 women's nipples and their increased sensitivity.

All in all... ****ing awful. Stay away like the plague.

I have to admit Redux actually made me nauseaus. I am not opposed to the pairing so much as how it was written. It seemed like the fic exists primarily just to play out the author's frustration (all meanings intended).

I was attracted to the idea of time travel to fourth year instead of first year, but it seems like that was just the year the author thought would be best for Harry to confess his love for Hermione...and turn her into a rodent. It was a let down, wish someone else had taken this angle. A number of writers on DLP could have done it much more justice.

I might try the second one, but after reading the first, it will be a long, long time from now.
