Trying to avoid a Mary sue, need help/advice

    For the lazy people, it is easier if you start with chapter 1 than post a link to fanfiction.net and your last chapter on DLP. Just a thought.

    Go ahead and post your latest chapter. I didn't start posting in WBA until chapter seven of one of my stories and I know of several other DLP vets who didn't put anything up until later on in their works. Just provide a link to the rest of the story - there are a bunch of members here who will give advice on the purely technical aspects without going through the rest of the story. You could also put up a basic plot synopsis in spoiler brackets of what has happened so far.

    The critique may be harsh, but your writing will thank you for it.

    Could always post a chapter at a time with each post (depending on each chapter length). Editing could also take up as much space as the story its self, I've seen on occasion.
