I am looking for a specific story that I believe was posted on FF.net and last updated no more then a few months ago. I have looked through my favorites and alerts and perused the DLP archives, but have been unable to find it here either.

In the story Harry's core was damaged by Voldemort's Avada Kedavra and it appeared to Dumbledore that he might be a squib. In actuality his core was tweaked to where he could absorb any energy around him and use it to augment his casting. He at one point before going to Hogwarts heals and brings back to life a bird for his Aunt and his actions cause their relationship become more cordial.

Upon reaching Hogwarts he is sorted into Ravenclaw and forms a close relationship with Filius Flitwick to the point where he starts to learn Gobbledygook from him as well as exploring the capabilities of his unique form of casting. Due to the way his core functions he is able to "see" magic and can even feel what each spell is meant to do. I think Harry even meets the goblins and they call him Stonespeaker or something similar.

If anyone can tell me the title of this story and where I might be able to find it I would greatly appreciate it. Let me know if anyone needs more information because I can add more of what I remember of the story if necessary.

Thank you for the help in finding this story. I completely forgot to look in the Recycling Bin since I hardly ever find anything there. Yes Churchey I did indeed name myself that.

 

Well the story was deleted because the author was offended by some reviews, so no. It is unfortunate because I was actually interested in it continuing.
