I know I read this fic a few years ago, and I thought it was on Patronus Charm, but I haven't been able to track it down in my searching.

Harry goes back in time to roughly 1979, maybe 1980. I believe his goal in that era is to stop Voldemort from rising to a proper threat in the first place, and allow for baby Harry Potter to grow up with the love of his parents rather than with the Dursleys.

Voldemort was either outright murdered or otherwise deposed of - can not recall at this point - but Harry replaces him and reforms the Death Eaters to what I could swear was called the Deluge instead. He used a bird pseudonym when he was around them rather than Harry Potter.

I believe the story had only six or seven chapters last time I saw it, and after James, Lily, Sirius, and at least Dumbledore figured out who he was and tried to confront him over it, Harry sent them all memories of his life, essentially the life that their own Harry would have grown up into had the future-Harry not come back in time to change things.

Is any of this ringing bells for you guys?

It's actually not that bad. Not more then 2-2.5 stars but a decent enough time killer so far.
