This is a fifth year story I think, maybe sixth.

-Harry is turned by an Order vamp as he lay dieing in his backyard. Harry rushes to Hermione's house, saves her by turning her, and some angst and much ass-kicking ensue. I remember liking this, but I remember being twelve too.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'm pretty sure Harry and Hermione became assassins of some sort... but I may be wrong.

 

I remember a vampire story where they get "unleashed" onto the bad guys by Dumbledore and tend to brand a red A onto their victims foreheads. Don't know the name though

Yes, I remember this one. However, not as bad as the one where Harry gets raised... by Blade. Obviously he gets vamped, then goes and hooks up with Hermione...

Vampire clichés make me loose my faith in mankind.

That was actually the very first harry potter fanfic I read. Discouraged me from the genre until I stumbled upon Ruskbyte...

I'll keep my eyes open for it...I don't want to look too far because for some reason I think the author transitioned from that story to Harry/Draco slash.

Yeah, I'm not helping very much. In my mind Blade was loosely connected to the other story. But if we keep throwing links to random nonslash vampiric Harry stories, we'll find it eventually...

 

I searched fanfic for about ten minutes yesterday looking at stories with the words Harry, Hermione, and vampire in the summary, together and seperately. There is so much shit on there... there should be like a test or something to be able to post stories.

 

Or an age-related section of FF.net.

Everyone under 15 posts their stories in a different section. It wouldn't eliminate all of the garbage stories, or even most. But it would certainly cut down on it.

Of course, what we all want is a slash-filter. More than anything else on FF.net.

But they'll never give it to us.
