Good work all, especially Joe. Fantastic job.

Also, Joe, what's the score with the author copies of the antho?

Aye, we shall wait and see. Paperback in a few weeks, but getting hardcovers is another game entirely. We'll see. I know there'd be one or two folk interested--and likely the authors--but expense v. time v. demand has to balance before I'd bother.

Heh - we're working on putting something together, such as a whole information packet that should cover everything that came up this time, containing sample contracts, set limits on word counts, due dates, contacts, and so on...

Around late-March/April, I should think, we'll throw up a poll with a bunch of themes and let the masses decide.

Not beyond reason, once this process is somewhat streamlined, to make the DLP Anthology a bi-annual adventure.

Other formats will eventually make the scene, but for a bit of exposure from Amazon it's exclusive there for 90 days.

Okay, so cheers to the folk who have already bought it. We're at 22 sales and rising. An initial release usually sees a surge then it'll drop down and average out for a few months, if my other data is any measure.

What I need from you now, is for those who have read it TO LEAVE A REVIEW! Reviews are gold, and will ensure better sales.

Probably expect them to ship out early to mid March. This will be after I've been sent a proof to approve, then the paperback will go live. At the point, I'll have access to copies and I'll bother you all for mailing addresses.

Hm, well, I read most of the drafts in the group. I'd be happy to go leave a 5-star review based on that. Is that wrong? I can wait til I actually have a copy to read instead if I should. XD

That reminds me - who is on the anthology committee you mentioned earlier? I have few, hopefully good ideas for the next theme that I would like to propose.

Same, I could offer some suggestion concerning some process (mainly the cover/back/spine thingy as you can guess).

This gave me a major literary boner. Slight homo.

In all seriousness, fucking awesome. Purchasing one in paperback, no doubt.

    Congrats, guys.

Damn that happened fast at the end.

Surprised my cover came third, too. Didn't even realise it was in the running xD

Congrats guys! Bought a kindle copy, though I'll probably pick up a physical copy too once it comes out. Really looking forward to reading it.

I hear he has no real name. Not one that can be pronounced by any human tongue, that is.

    Congrats on being published, guys!

Thought I'd let you guys see how the paperback version might look. Working on the back at the moment.

Going to get this uploaded and then wait a day for approval from the publisher, but I think we've nailed it. Well and truly.
