The DLP logo on the spine fucking makes it for me, too awesome.

I will repeat my earlier suggestion to Joe of a Romance themed anthology at some point, because DLP's takes on it could be so awesome.

Change the colour scheme and the picture in the middle and you've got the cover for the next one, too.

Heh, a romance themed anthology with the series title: Unbowed, Unbroken, Unrelenting.

Take this cover and just make it hot-pink. Actually, that'd look pretty damned awesome.

    Precisely.

Romance story featuring "Unrelenting" characters has horror story potential as well. XD

I've got the Kindle one, since most of my reading is at the cafeteria or on the can anyway. It'll take me ages to get through the whole thing I expect, but if I like it enough I'll pick up a paper copy so I can show people what good writing is.

I've noticed a couple errors so far, after having only finished the first short. I presume those are Kindle/e-book related mistakes? I couldn't point them out without rereading, but they seemed like the sort of thing I see in other e-books more often.

Most likely. And it depends on the device, as well. And what version of Kindle software you're using. Whether its an app on something like an ipad or a PC.

There's no magic formula that spans everything in ebook creation here, but if you see something obviously wrong - missing text, different font/font sizes, shoot my a PM, if you're so inclined, and I'll see about making an update.

    You asked for it!

P.S. It could actually be awesome if I'd taken more than 2 minutes to do all the color changes :p

Funny thing is, this'd probably sell a million copies.

    For shame, Basilisk. For shame.

Purchased. I won't have time to read it for awhile but, if only to feed your insatiable ego, Joe, I could leave an OPEN review...

Brought it, looking forward to reading it but probably won't get around to it for a few months. Ain't uni a bitch?

Congratulations to everyone who's got a story in it.

Depends on what you guys think of my earlier question in this thread:
Should I leave a review based on that, to help sales, or wait until I've gotten a real copy and had time to read it? It's not like I'd actually comment specifically on the stories so much as say how awesome it is, and that it's 16 short stories and 427 pages and it's well worth $3.50, and so on.

You could easily leave a review based on your reading of the drafts; this makes you more informed than many reviewers on the site. I suggest you call out a couple of stories in particular that you enjoyed and say why, as it has higher impact on sales than merely saying "loved it" and leaving it at that.

(Of course, if your amazon.com account uses the same name as your author name, then it'll look a bit fishy and self-serving...)

    Bought and started reading.

Any chance of knowing who here wrote what story? Or did I miss that somewhere?

Cool. I'll do that. I was hesitant to make specific comments since the stories have no doubt been edited, but yeah.

As for the self-serving bit... well, yeah, but I didn't finish my entry in time so it's not in there. ^^ Therefore SAFE! Expect the review up later today.
