Hi guys! I got done playing a game elsewhere that I would like to bring over here. However I wanted to gauge interest to see where it would go in the queue.

The following things are guaranteed about it:

1) The mod will probably lie to you.
2) The game will likely have mid game alignment shifts.
3) The game is not meant to be a "serious" game. It is meant for fun.
4) In no way is this game not bastard.
5) You may or may not discover things as the game goes.
6) Expect the unexpected.

This is something I would like to do for hilarity's sake. It would take 13 suckers I mean players.

 

I've never seen a setup with this in it that I'm interested in playing.

Sometimes, it's good; sometimes, it's bad.

 

It probably wouldn't even if phases are longer. It is more meant to be hilarious than mind fuckery. It may have some thought but this is definitely not a game to be like "omg let's have the priest lead a prayer at 2 pm which will roleblock the witch and then cause jester to explode" type game.

What have you been playing?

 

in mindscrew, i had an ability that made votes on a player stick (aka you cant unvote)
a townie inverted the sanity of my ability
so our game winning mislynch couldnt be voted

but we soldiered on
until i tried to nightkill the serial killer/devil
who i had apparently sold my soul to
so i killed myself instead

also we lynched the mod at one point
he was a neutral survivor

proph died the first day (which was day 2 btw), and was also in final 3

bastard games are dope.

 

Games....Lots of games....

Either way I think this game is meant to break "hilarity" and not be serious.

I am not 100% sure I will be able to run it though but will see. If I can though it would be very fun. But I would definitely want people who know what a bastard game means and have completed at least one game on another site.

That way weird stuff doesn't happen due to inexperience.

Flesh out the idea and perhaps during a lull in games can revisit this.

Perhaps if you can find a way to make the concept work for 7-9 players it might be able to generate enough interest, but not sure about filling a 'full' game size.

 

It sounds interesting, but like Eidolonic said, we probably need a bit more context before agreeing to commit to an ambiguous game. Flesh out your concept a bit and I'm probably in.
