No, This isnt a Vash fic. The way it was done just rubbed me the wrong way. I didnt care to bother reading it after that point.

The wedding chapter was somewhat out of left field, but I don't think its offensive enough (at all, really) for me to completely stop reading.

I've enjoyed the story in varying degrees from the first chapter until now, the sudden wedding is a fairly small blip in what's otherwise a good fic.

The fic started of as a very promising one for me. But the irregular updates and the plot-line deviation, not to mention the totally unrealistic flippant attitude of Harry towards the injustice put me off it. May go back to it now for a re-read.
Great promise-not up to mark delivery.

Harry is too much of a wimp in this one. If he was really that good at least one person should have noticed him.

Well it has been updated in FF.net.

I liked the fact Dumbledore isn't forgiven by Harry no matter how much he tried to get into his good graces. Still no sign of Sirius, Lily and Remus.

    I can't wait for the next chapter.*Hint*

You realize that it's been updated for a while on her yahoo group? I think she's writing the final chapter now.

I know, but for some reason she won't accept me in her group. It is sort of annoying, I'm not a patient person by nature....<_<

They just decided to get married on a whim... and they invited everyone to be there. I mean, first of all, how did Hermione even get a dress? Did Harry just conjure one or something?

Characters don't need to marry once they've admitted they've loved each other... obviously. I mean, it's not like Harry has much time to be wasting – just enough for the secks, I'd say.

The writing for these last few chapters has gone down hill as well. I felt like I was reading a different story. Everything was rushed... the descriptions were cliche and annoying – Harry has a sudden and complete turn around (he's all loving and shit – praying for safety and acting "good")...

But I'm not disappointed. The story is ending. It started falling apart twenty chapters ago, but now it's almost over. I'm satsified, even if this story had potential for greater things.

I think she closed new memberships until the final chapter is done.

So...to all you fans of hers.

Does she ever explain why Lily and James ignored him. The "accidental hugs" and stuff like that?

I just couldn't get beyond the stupid "neglectful parents" plot device. So please tell me that she explains it in some reasonable way so I can give it a shot.

......No. Though it is still going and I remember some sort of competition where she asked some people to come up with reaction's after it is found out Harry is the boy who lived. We will wait and see I suppose.

According to Luna, Harry's invisibility is at least partially self-induced. Sometime after the duel, she talks about him not needing to hide anymore. Then she peers at him and seems disappointed, and says something about him not realizing that yet.
On the other hand, even if Harry unconsciously had cast some sort of "notice me not" spell on himself, there is No Reason for Dumbledore to slander Harry to the Professors unless the old man is worried about Harry stealing Daniel's limelight.

That seems to be what happened from what I understand. It's really vauge though and the author has not really gone into detail about if it was a curse or just him being emo and anti-social. Though I hope it's explained in the last chapter at least. I lean to either voldie caused the curse or Harry's own magic did it.

Watch the author not even explain it.

The author had a good idea and ran with it. Neglect never was quite explained in it though. In fact, that in itself reminds me of the J.K. style of writing, finding a good idea then developing a plot around it.

This isn't a bad story, in fact it serves to entertain. But "little things" like neglectful parents are often put on the backburner. There's several little quirks in the writing that become irritating, Lily and James I think being the biggest.

I had read this quite some time ago and back then I liked it but now I wanted to see what updates had been done since then. I had to go back and reread some stuff and then when I arrived at that marriage I just quitted reading. I don't like it that much anymore.
I still think it is a good enough story but not great.
    I'd give it a 3/5.
