Not ashamed to admit that I loved Borat/Bruno so I'm really looking forward to The Dictator. If you haven't watched the trailer yet, do it and prepare to laugh.

Well it won't matter since the world is ending in 2012 ;p. Stupid jokes aside I can't wait for the Hunger Games.

Other than the superhero stuff, the one I'm really pumped for is Rock of Ages.

Seems to be pretty fucked up, definitely going to watch that.

Chronicle looks really great as well considering I've never heard of it before.

Who cares about them? Prometheus is what everybody should be waiting for.

Anyway, many trailers had a premiere today - for new Batman, teaser for Prometheus, international for The Avengers (in German, but with few new scenes) and for Wrath Of The Titans. Here you can watch them all in one place.

Tomorrow we will have one for Hobbit and two days later full trailer for Prometheus. Can't complain.

Well it is not ending before december so lots of time for movies.

The Dark Knight Rises is going to be the movie of the year for me.

You know, I really want 'Rock of Ages' to work, 'cause I love the music and they somehow managed to get a lot of people with talent on this (I have no idea how)... but I also know that you put two completely insane livewires like Tom Cruise and Russell Brand singing hard rock and being nuts, even in the heyday of hair metal of 1987...

Yeah, I have no faith at all that this is going to work whatsoever, even with an all-star cast and one of the few directors that can actually handle a musical of this scope, particularly if they don't have a hard R-rated script (and you know they won't). If they wanted this to be truly iconic of the hair metal era and the utter debauchery associated with said era, they wouldn't be trying to dress it up with primary colours and get this many A-list actors. To pay for this movie (and the licensing for some of these songs), it's going to need to sell a shitload of tickets, and that means there's no way in hell they're going to go for a R (which kind of sucks, IMO).

And yes, I know that part of the appeal of 'Rock of Ages' from the musical is that the whole damn thing is supposed to be cheesy and stupid and insane and just revelling in sheer excess, with broad caricatures for characters and a stupid plot - yeah, that doesn't always work for musicals on the stage, and even less for movie musicals. It worked for 'Rock Of Ages' on stage because they actually had really talented singers who could belt out Whitesnake and Bon Jovi and Twisted Sister without embarrassing themselves all that much - but here, we have a bunch of actors with very little musical experience. Yes, I'm happy they got Catherine Zeta-Jones, we know she can sing from 'Chicago', and I hope to god the no-names they got for the leads are decent enough singers, but I have no faith whatsoever that Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, and Alec Baldwin can pull this off without looking unbelievably stupid (and on a side note, I can acknowledge that she was good in 'Watchmen', but why the fuck is Malin Ackerman still getting work?).

So yeah, I'm seeing this opening night, if only because I want a front row seat to this titanic disaster erupting on screen.

I'll be the first to mention Brave. Aside from Cars 2, Pixar has never made a movie I didn't love.

Yeah, REALLY looking looking forward to Prometheus. :)

Wonder if we'll see the Aliens in it, or just the 'Space Jockeys'?

From what I heard only the Space Jockeys, but since it's a shared universe I expect a little cameo of Aliens in some form.

Oh hey, there's another Snow White movie coming out besides Snow White and the Huntsman. One that DOESN'T have Kristen Stewart. Thank god. I hope Mirror, Mirror will be good.

Also, oddly enough, I'm excited for Brave. It looks cute.
Wanderlust may be funny. I do like Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston.
I'll be seeing The Woman in Black, if only to see how Daniel Radcliffe is as another character.
Project X should be entertaining enough.
And oh, sooo excited for The Amazing Spider-Man. I mean, sure it's a reboot all too soon, but it's fucking Spider-Man, and it has Emma Stone, so no matter what I'll be happy.

The Raven looks interesting, but that's because I'm a Poe fan.

Skyfall will make or break Daniel Craig as one of the Best Bonds.

And lastly... Dark Knight Rises. Who is not looking forward to another Nolan film?

EDIT: Oh and Safe House. Mostly for my man crush on Ryan Reynolds though.

Seconded like whoa. Though from watching it, it seems to be a combination of the two Hobbit movies. The scenes without Bilbo are a big tipoff, because the book doesn't stray from his point of view at all. And it certainly doesn't include Galadriel anywhere.
