What? No love for MIB 3? Am I the only one looking forward to that?

    No.

Saw the trailer at SH: Game of Shadows (phenomenal if a little action heavy) and I'm really stoked.

Eh, the trailer for Mirror Mirror looks terrible. Julia Roberts, whom I normally tolerate, doesn't seem to be a good queen. Besides, I'd prefer to watch a LOTR-ish Snow White adaptation which may include sequels than a Roberts-pushed comedy based on Snow White, Kirsten Stewart notwithstanding.

Same here. Like other 90s kids, I have an inner Disney geek. It should be good. Finally, a ginger Princess.

Ariel doesn't count because that shit comes from a bottle.

lol, Spider-Man. Let's not start the whole debate about "Original vs New!" here. For the record, I think Garfield will make a great Spiderman, even more so than Maguire's, although Spider-Man 2 still is one of my favourite Superhero movies.

DKR is probably an obvious must-see, along with the Hunger Games movie for me.

Oddly enough, though, it's not any of these movies but a fucking television show that has me most excited for 2012. The Legend of Korra, fuck yeah. :>

With the title I though it would be about Greek Mythology. Although the trailer makes it look so badass

G.I. Joe 2 looks almost as bad as the first one but has ninjas fighting on the side of a mountain, Bruce Willis and The Rock so I'll probably watch it.

    Best trailer though? Paranorman. Yeah.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how The Hunger Games turns out.

And now with this list I am going to waste a lot of time sitting here watching trailers. It's good I don't have anything important to do right now.

Because I'm trashy and lowbrow, I'm really looking forward to American Reunion.

/has seen every American Pie movie and loved them all.

Including the straight to DVD ones.

Other movies I'm looking forward to enough to pay for cinema tickets:

    Brave
    Chronicle
    Coriolanus
    Men In Black 3
    The Dark Knight Rises
    The Hobbit
    Prometheus

With probably watch at some point:

    Iron Sky
    John Carter
    Lock Out
    Man on a Ledge
    Project X
    Red Tails
    Safe House
    The Avengers
    The Amazing Spiderman
    The Dictator
    The Grey

If only this movie was R rated and stayed true to some naked points of books. Thirty years ago Leia had less clothes in Episode 6 than Dejah Thoris has in this film. I hate when they change the source material so much. ;)

Sometimes I forget that hacky/awesome American comedies make it across the pond. Something to love about the pure fun in those movies. Still trying to recreate some of those moments in real life.

Trailer for another 2012 movie - Upside Down. I must say that I like the concept of the world it shows. Trailer makes it look quite spectacular (it also reminds me of famous scene from Inception). I just hope that a romantic part of the movie will not make it unwatchable.

Wow there is a bunch of movies I'm looking forward to this year.

The only one that really irks me is The Snow White and the Huntsman, I love twisted fairytales, and a big budget lotr style one sounds fantastic... then they just had to cast Kristin Stewart. :(
So here to hoping that either A. she learned to act once she got a role with a personality, or at least B. That I can enjoy it anyway without my bias towards her making me notice every bit of bad acting.

Yeah, so desperatly trying to reserve judgement, who knows, she might bloom away from Bella Swan *prey*

Or I could just enjoy it for Chris Hemsworth :D

It seems interesting but the trailer seems to point towards the romantic plotline being the prelevant one... Also that shot at around the beginning looks so much like an Inception rip off its surreal.

I was ridiculously happy to see that one of my favorite books of all time, On the Road, was finally being made into a movie. And then I found out that Kristen Stewart is in it. She is playing Marylou, which is admittedly a role I dislike, so it might turn out well. But really, why the FUCK is she in everything I want to watch.

Two clips from Chronicle for your consideration. Second also has the trailer again.

Regarding Upside Down - which looks incredible - I've seen it billed as a take on Romeo and Juliet, so I think we can safely assume it is going to be mostly about the romance.

It's so clearly a R+J reboot it's insane lol, the trailer's pretty evident. That said, nothing wrong with romance if it's done right.

Chronicle is one of the most interesting things in this thread so far.

    Corialanus.

Once I saw the main actor played Voldemort, I couldn't unsee it.

    God Bless America.

I have a feeling that movie in itself will not be half as fun as trailer makes it look like, but I will watch it. If only to see someone doing things that I want to do from time to time.

EDIT: Apparently the previous link was taken down (which is really weird considering that they should want to advertise it, no?), so new link.

Reminds me of Super for some reason. Hopefully it'll be along the same lines.
