Not sure where I should mention it. But if Cap 2 becomes a success, The Russo brothers said they'll be doing a R-Rated MCU movie.

Hope for Punisher.

 

If I could only have one R-Rated MCU film, I'd take Deadpool over the Punisher. They'd never be able to do Deadpool right with a PG-13 rating, but you could pull it off with the Punisher if you were clever about it.

 

Unfortunately Deadpool is stuck with Fox. He is a X-Men character first and foremost.

 

Was anyone else reminded of the fic Mother of Learning when they saw the Edge of Tomorrow trailer?

 

I thought of wastelands.

 

Never read that (that Mother of Learning one, I've read Wastelands of Time), but I was interested in that movie when I saw the trailer a while back. I've always liked time loop stories.

Apparently it's based on a Japanese light novel, but they changed all the names and stuff.

 

I wonder if Tom Cruise writes a clause into his contracts that says he must have at least one scene where he is riding a motorbike.

 

Just saw Noah - this movie... complicated feelings on it. I liked it a lot, even if there were some weak elements. And it looked amazing. It's weird, because it both used actual biblical apocrypha and wholly invented narrative elements. Not for everyone, but it's kinda a odd epic fantasy in a lot of ways, but with depth.

 

Michael Bay the movie also know as TMNT.

The trailer was as expected.

The TMNT movie gives me complicated feelings.

I just don't even know if I want to chance it.

The ending of the trailer redeemed it. Partially.

 

I think it's a good sign that Megan Fox landed April. Makes me think that Bay isn't quite as involved in the decision making as I thought he'd be.

Fox's hair is relatively auburn in the picture stills. You just can't tell in the trailer's lighting.

As long as Rafael is an angry dick, Michelangelo says 'Cowabunga' at least once, and there is copious amounts of pizza, I'll probably enjoy the movie.

 

Just came back from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Damn, that was fun.
