Lol, ayup. Samsung weren't impressed I imagine.

Back on topic, Sex Tape is supposedly shitty, but Cameron Diaz gets naked...

    I think I'd rather buy a MrSkin sub ;)

Fox might buy Time Warner. Or not.

But if it did... how does Batman vs. Wolverine sound?

I'm sure the internet would melt down. Though a DC vs Marvel movie in general would be great for the lulz.

I'd rather Disney just buy Wolverine so we can get Hugh Jackman in the Avengers...

Guardians of the Galaxy - Extended Clip.

I was trying to predict whether it will be big or not, but after Transformers success despite everyone complaining about it and How to Train Your Dragon 2 worse performance than the first one despite the praise it gets, I concluded that I just don't get what makes people go to the cinema these days.

Considering all the money Marvel has, I think it would be worth it for them to buy back all their characters. Or at the very least 'rent' them.

Renting the character licenses out for specific projects and purposes would be the smart thing to do, and it would allow us to see a lot of good shit that's been difficult or infeasible up until now, like a truly massive Marvel movie, Peter Parker in the Avengers, or a Marvel DC crossover.

It's smart, everybody wins, and you couldn't carry away the cash they'd make with a fleet of trucks. So obviously, they won't even consider it.

Obviously there are exceptions, but I feel like initial advertising hype for blockbusters generally trumps reviews and word of mouth to get people through the cinema doors.

Transformers, despite being truly awful, dumped boatloads into TV spots. I mean goddamn... I couldn't go a single 2 hour primetime session without seeing a comically dumbfounded Marky Mark say, "I think we just found a Transformer."

HTTYD2 on the other hand was good (although not anywhere near as magically magical as the first, so that didn't help), but they spent very little on ads.

Socialising, enjoyment and loads of other things...?

Anyways - anyone seen the trailer for Expendables 3? Looks like a mindless action flick.

You're suggesting that people are enjoying Transformers more than they enjoy HTTYD2? But you may have a point with socializing since I suspect people take breaks from watching T4 to talk without worrying that they will miss anything important. ;)

Just read the guardians of the galaxy review on IGN. I trust the reviewer when it comes to superhero movies... Jesus, I'm so excited for that movie.

Yeah, not impressed. I fully agree with the top comments on that trailer denouncing Peter Jackson as the new George Lucas and/or Michael Bay.

Can't please everyone I guess. I love the Hobbit movies. Martin Freeman as Bilbo is fantastic.

Daneil Radcliffe in a new film, Horns, based on the book by Joe Hill.

    Horny Potter

I like the look of this one. The book was decent, too.

Puh-lease. I can't see PJ becoming anywhere near as bad of a filmmaker as Bay. Although even Bay's status as 'bad' can be argued. His last two movies sucked ass and they still made a bajillion dollars.

Dark Lord Potter has arrived. Let us kneel, my fellow acolytes, before our Saviour.

That was precisely my point. And yeah, I love Martin Freeman as well.
