Going by the trailer alone and not speaking whatever language that is, it doesn't look anywhere near like anything interesting. Honestly, the premise of crossing two horror franchises reminds me of Alien vs Predator.

It's Batman we need, deserve and will definitely enjoy.

So, Avengers: Infinity War (part 1 and 2) is going to have a 1 Billion Dollar budget. 200 million of which will go directly to Robert Downey Jr.

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, these budgets are getting kinda ridiculous.

 

Robert Downey Jr must have the best goddamn agent the world has ever seen.

 

Agreed. If it's true he gets as much money as everybody else involved in this film summed together.

That said, no actor, not even as likeable as RDJ, is worth that kind of money. I can only suspect that Disney simply didn't want any bad publicity surrounding the grand finale of the first era of MCU and his agent used it to his advantage.

 

That's fucking nuts.

In other news, went to see Zootopia tonight (or Zootropolis as it's called over here), and I really recommend it. Great fun, a not terribly subtle but effective moral message, and stunning animation.

 

Hardcore Henry looks like it's going to be horrible. Am I the only one who thinks so?
A first person film that is supposed to emulate a first person shooter.

I've seen hopefuls here for an "Assassin's Cread" movie well hear you go.

Lolwot? Where's it called Zootropolis? And more importantly, why?

 

It's called Zootropolis in the UK and Ireland, and maybe in other parts of Europe, idk. No reason for the change was ever given, all they ever said was:

I've seen some speculation suggesting that there's some sort of pre-existing copyright in the UK that would prevent some of the merchandising for the name Zootopia, which is probably a more realistic explanation.

 

If that number is real it must be a bonus for the success of his past Marvel movies.

 

There's a Danish zoo company called Zootopia. They don't actually have any zoos open yet, but apparently they've still copyrighted the name in some countries.

 

I find it a little funny that these contract talks contain spoilers. We know IM survives the Civil War then.

Not necessarily - flashbacks are a thing, for one, or they could get into weirder comic book stuff like alternate realities or resurrection.

But yeah, probably just going to survive.

 

Ah man, I didn't know about this. Annnnd they've got me. I still maintain the Lego movie is one of the best films I've ever seen. Definitely the best advert.

 

How is that a spoiler? Putting RDJ's popularity aside neither reading the comics or watching the trailers would give anyone the idea that Ironman might die in the movie.
