I suppose, but I think it feels a bit too campy though. Anime/Manga version is still better regardless of the reception.

 

I'm not sure, DN anime/manga was pretty campy to begin with with L's weirdness, Misa's fangirl moments, Matsuda's dorkiness and Ryuk's, uh, Ryukness.

I liked Anonymous, so this "true" version of the Moon landing has my attention. Looks to be pretty baller. Godzilla 2014 was boring as hell, but what little there was of Godzilla in that movie was good. The trailer for the Japanese Godzilla was strongly meh. And, tbh, Godzilla looks underwhelming.

 

To be fair, most of the Japanese movies actually use Godzilla sparingly as well and focus more on the human characters.

 

Sure, but it shouldn't be overdone.

Pacific Rim was well made in that regard.

 

I saw the Jungle Book movie yesterday. It was pretty fucking good The movie was full of good fun and Sher Khan was awesome.

It's visually quite good and it would be worth it for any one to watch it in IMAX.

Bill Murray did Garfield. It was shit, Bill Murray's talents couldn't save it. We didn't need another respected actor to do a cat movie.

Goddammit Hollywood.

 

There is a funny story from Murray himself that he only did it because when he heard who wrote it he mistaken Joel Cohen for Joel Coen and always wanted to work with Coen brothers. Doesn't explain why he did the sequel though.
