I just saw Jungle Book (mostly because there didn't seem to be any other interesting movies, and it was for my mother's birthday). So, I went in with no expectations, and it actually turned out to be pretty good. Would recommend.

Saw Jungle Book last night. Was pretty good, much better than I expected.

Seeing how true to the original the songs (and the movie itself) were made me regret, for the first time in memory, not going to see the greek translation version of a movie (there was playing a bit earlier). I'd have liked to see how closely it matched the Jungle Book movie I grew up with.

I can’t belive I’m saying this, but I’m hyped for Angry Birds the Movie, the Brazilian dub. They picked the funniest current comedians (most with extensive voice acting ability) for the movie to do thr voices, and I’m a huge fan of all of them. All of they are amazing at hamming it up, and they all were excited to do it for the lolz. Damn.

Not to watch it alone, but def something to watch with my younger siblings.

I finally got to watching Deadpool the other day. Overall a good movie, lot of funny parts, but the time jumps for the first half or so kind of bugged me, and I thought it could've been longer. But I'm glad they didn't fuck it up.

So it's probably my fault for not paying enough attention before but I had no idea that Travis Fimmel is playing the human lead in the Warcraft movie. I wasn't alll that interested before but now holy shit I am so hyped. I will happily pay to watch anything that magnificent blue eyed bastard does.

I liked what I saw in the AC trailer. Obviously it's not a straight adaptation, like the robot arm throwing Fassbender around to simulate movement from the memories. I'm assuming that's what it is instead of some actual training montage, because that would throw the bleeding effect out the window - the whole point of AC2 and Brotherhood was for Desmond to gain Ezio's skills.

I really hope this doesn't end up being Fassbender's first bad movie and we break the convention of video game movies mostly sucking.

    Warcraft lol pffft.

Looks pretty solid. Perhaps even surprisingly so. Terrible trailer song choice aside, it looks promising, delivering the bits it should deliver, etc.

Hmmm. That arm thing intrigues me. I wonder if he'll actually get hurt when he falls/dies instead of just "desynchronizing".

Also, I look forward to their stupid physics defying explanation of surviving that eagle's roost jump.

I would be 100% ok with him nonchalantly landing in a pile of straw.

The Leap of Faith must be a thing in the movie, though I suppose they'll save it for a big moment instead of dispensing it like the games do - no time for it, really. I'd be down for a middle of the road approach, where he jumps but maybe the cart with hay shattered after he lands and he of course groans in pain and stumbles, but he's a badass so he gets up. Like in action movies, basically.

And I'll restate, if there's a training montage, fuck everything.

I like the gyroscope crane arm thing they have. Stimulates his muscles instead of him waking up from long periods in inactivity being able to fling himself about and perform feats of strength randomly. Although I guess that's a factor of the half human, half Ones-Who-Came-Before DNA.

I wonder how they'll showcase the precursors in the movie. As far as I'm aware the movie is separate from the game universe.

Also, on the Warcraft movie: I'm cautiously optimistic, but would frankly prefer everything to be CG rather than just some of it.

Oh, really? Well there has to be some kind of similarities since the whole basis of Templar vs Assassin is to do with the precursor's society and the pieces of Eden.

Nerve, a thriller. Interesting premise. Based on a book that I don't think I would read, but as a movie looks good. Emma Roberts and Dave Franco.

I am interested in what fassbender's backstory is going to be and if the Templar/assassin war will be changed. They might cut the precursor lore and change it for something else in order to get non gamers interested in it. I really hope they don't.

The precursor stuff is the most uninteresting part of every AC game. Why would you want it in?
