That scene where the Charizard is going after Pikachu reminded me of the nugget bridge scene in Game of Champions tbh.

They should remove the toys as the voice actors pass on. When Toy Story came out I was... like 8? Dunno. They should make the film for the original demographic, which was me, and have each new installment missing a toy or two - like, in real life, things get misplaced - and as in between installments we lose a voice actor. Such as Jim Varney.

I'd watch that. Hell, I'll be first-day show for TS4 regardless, so Pixar wins. Pixar always wins.

I might actually go and watch this in the cinema when it comes out. Provided they’ll play it in English, of course. James Earl Jones absolutely nailed his part.

 

I mean, it's The Lion King. The only live action remake I'd even consider.

My newly discovered connection to the universe aside, I really didn’t like the trailer. It’s a carbon copy of every other Disney trailer to come out in the last five years. I half expected star wars music with that opening shot of the sun.

They would have been better to just open with rafiki raising simba up and that classic theme playing.

 

Artemis Fowl

 

I loved those books as a child. Not sure I like the casting of Artemis based on his looks, but he might pull it off.

 

First youtube comment sums it up. It looks good and bad at the same time. Good for Eion Colfer though, get dat movie money.

Edit: Dang, just read he sold movie rights away back before the first book even came out. As trump would say, Sad.
