    Fuck those oversized wasps, I hate them to death - primarily because they always ambush you and you need really keen eyes to spot them beforehand. They are however super easy to kill, just have to wait until they line up to fly right at you and then one-shot them with a bow.

    Roaming around the server. Looks like there's other people here but if I run into them on the minimap I don't see anyone, nor is anyone else talking.

    Guessing that's normal or do I need to change a setting?

    Also this world is more gorgeous than my old one for sure.

    Edit: I also can't pick anything up off the ground it seems?

    Edit2: It's my internet being shit. Hopefully will improve.

    Tested on another server hosted by a friend - every time anyone came near me they started lagging.

    Also the house I built on our server is gone now - but not like someone messed with it, more like it's exactly back to the identical ruin it was before I tore down the bits and rebuilt. I read somewhere this happened to someone else with shit internet - changes they made didn't stick and 'reset' or something.

    All the area I explored is also back to 'fog of war' status, though I logged back into the ruin of a home. My 'bed' icon is still there too.

    Interesting. *goes to town cackling with lag trailing* (If it's an issue I'll quit comin' round eventually)

    The boys and I managed to beat Bonemass. Seriously hard fight, we were totally unprepared for it. We had decent gear, either all Iron or a mix of Iron/Bronze. We sailed across a narrow ocean and fortunately set up a small outpost with a portal to home base before triggering the fight. But between the adds and our swords doing little to no damage, we were screwed really quickly. We tactically retreated through the portal and theorycrafted a bit. We decided to try fire arrows and blunt weapons as the things we hadn't tried, which we quickly discovered were a lot more effective. The trouble was, the environment was really unfavourable for a good fight in the wet rain with very little traversible land to kite the boss on. We ended up rotating in and out of our portal hut two at a time, one kiting the other doing damage from behind before retreating to heal while the next pair took over.

    Great stuff, super enjoyable. Mountains next!

    Logged in earlier. Found a small, abandoned tower.

    I tore down one or two bits from the top.

    I made it into a home. A small home, a temporary home, but a home nonetheless.

    And yet, when I log back in now, a few hours later... it's all gone. Even the very top staircase - once torn down - has returned. I spawned on the floor next to where my bed used to be.
