Looking for a Vampire Harry story where Harry is mentored by Remus Lupin's brother, Romulus(?). Read the first couple of chapters years ago, and enjoyed it. Anybody have any ideas?

One Remus is a werewolf and the implication of you enjoying a story where his brother is a vampire named Romulus is...not going to be taken well here at all. Especially if he is tutoring Harry. Save your dignity and seek elsewhere for said fic because none here would wish to remember reading it if they did.

You don't mean that marvelous story in which Harry is bitten by a vampire/werewolf hybrid and obtains all their powers, muscles but none of their weakness, then he is shunned by wizarding britain who is just a bunch of old fashioned prejudiced inbreed idiots, not at all like the outstanding wizard's society on the states, who gracioulsy accepts him into his ranks, setting him on the way to become the greatest wizard of all time( while teaching young Harry all about his powers of seduction and how to tame his neverending lust on the side) in a couple of weeks?

Yea...I remember that. Too bad President Awesome and all his political power couldn't stop the master manipulator of all times, one Albus Dumbledore, of creating a law that forces Harry back to England to attend hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.

But it was all okay, since it seems that despite all the stares and whispers and the oh-so-evil-pointing-fingers along with dealing with a world full of racism and elitism, he still finds love in the arms of the platinum-haired-prince Draco. Ahhh, young love. How it gives us the will to face life...

And the ending!! OHMYGOSH! it was incredible! After weeks of getting raped and remembering the betrayal of his friends, Harry manages to escape the evil cluches of Lord Voldermort and his massive cock, just to hold Draco once more in his arms.

It was that night, in that abandoned cottage that a dimension traveler that went from the name of DLP found the idiotic fuck that had the stupid idea of posting this thread and proceeded to rip him a new asshole, before leaving in a crusade to stick burning candle wax on the dicks of every gay OC in that story.

I will refrain to mention what they(for we are many) did to the rest of them, but I guess you will hear all about it in the next few days.

I don't want to read a super powerful Harry story. I definitely don't want to read any kind of slash. But every good Vampire story is abandoned or deleted so I'm trying to find a really old one that I barely remember. If it sucks then....why does it matter?

On topic: You should just use the search engine and type Vampire+Harry, I am sure you will find every Twillight crossover there is.

Edit: Also, Vampire!Harry would not make a good couple with Veela!Draco, he would seek comfort in the arms of VampireLord!Snape.

Oz, I found a story similar to the one you want. It's called 'My Immortal'. Some of the names are off, and there are a few spelling mistakes, but it's a great story. I'd put it in For Review, but 5/5 just isn't a high enough rate for it.

DarkAizen: Twilight crossovers.... Ugh, have you ever tried to actually read one of those? I was once naive enough to think that I would enjoy vampire Harry, but after the third story that followed the same goddamn plotline, I had to stop.

First of all, in every Harry Potter/Twilight story Harry is gay. Harry is never with Alice or Rosalie or some random girl; it's always Carlise, Jasper, Emmett, or Edward.

As if that's not bad enough, Harry's always a pussy who can't help but be attracted to their gorgeous eyes and their beautiful looks. Not to mention that Harry's magic rises up and welcomes the vampires, as Harry goes around stuttering and drooling whenever he seems them.

Is it too much to ask for a kickass, rich Harry would tries to kill the vampires, and then falls in love?

 

So...a bit like Bella in the books, then? God, I've never disliked the main character of a book as much as I dislike Bella Swan.

Seriously, yeah. What is it with Vampire!Harry almost 97% of the time = Gay!Harry? I mean, in terms of sexuality, I had always thought of the handsome and charismatic male vampire seducing the pretty mortal woman. Or vice versa.

So why is it that in fanfiction it's almost always slash?

Really, just about any Creature!Harry is slash...but Vampire more than any other I think.

I've been working on a Straight!Vampire!Harry fic of my own...but it's very slow moving. I seem to always lose motivation for that particular story after a short bit of time. Maybe one day I'll finish it.

 

Because most of those story are written by 14 year old girls.

I hate Bella, too. Are we really supposed to believe that after over eighty years of celibacy, Edward falls in love with Bella? Even ignoring the fact that Bella is plain, unintelligent, and boring, one cannot get through even one chapter without wondering why the Cullens don't kill the annoying human chit.

I'm pretty sick of Harry being fucking gay. Slash is bad enough, but if someone's going to write it, can they at least be somewhat original with it? Or here's an idea: fucking write a story where Harry's a gorgeous, powerful vampire who's straight. I promise you, the world won't end.
