Summary: There are stories in fandom where the hero wakes up in a mental hospital. Everyone tries to convince the hero that his world is all in his head. Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a wonderful episode based on this concept and I've read a terrific fanfic in the HP fandom with the same idea. This is my version of that cliche.

Hmmm, humorous but a story where Harry wanders around muttering "loony" and Voldemort constantly calls Malfoy a twit really doesn't reach a very high level. Language was basic, the structure more like a collection of funny moments as opposed to a real time plot line. Which, personally I thought went against the whole "this is an illusion" ending, a more seamless realism would have been more suitable. Very little setting detail.

Better humor fics to be found.

 

Well, it had its point. 'Normal Again' was of course longer but this little one shot had nearly enough to make me laugh. 'Whore Crutches' or something like that did make me smile.

Potter is in this though just a side. I can't really see this as getting longer. Lucy is a pansy little fucktard who can't push his own chair or get his ass of the couch to pull a muscle and Harry is a little taser-happy newbie worker.

Voldy is as loony as ever, and he will miss his nose.

Meh. 3/5 I guess. It wasn't anything really special but you don't see Tom in that spot often if at all.

 

A lulzy premise with an amateur execution. 3/5 for me, this doesn't belong in the Library.

It was a bit lacking but I think it should go into the Forum. It was quite original and did point out how no one puts him in half of the conditions that harry is often found in.

 

Just read it. The idea of it was good, but the execution was fairly dull. 3/5 and voting for recycling bin.

 

The execution was dull, sure, but it wasn't meant ot be a long and fairly meaningful fic, just another view of the other-world-in-the-loony-bin by a person we don't usually think about in that idea.

 

Really? Shrugs, expected more ire. It wasn't an original idea or a very clever twist and it was poorly constructed. I will admit Goddessa has a point that Voldemort is rarely the character tossed in the insane asylum, but it wasn't an amazingly inventive stretch. But maybe I'm wrong and this quality is good enough, who's to say.
