If people didn't already know, the RoR door on JKR's website is unlocked, instructions on how to open it are as follows:

There is a stone behind the flower pot. Drag it over to the mirror. Release it and the mirror will shatter. Drag the key over to the keyhole. Now click on the message behind the mirror and then type "reparo" into your keyboard, then close the pop up window that appeared with the message. Click the miniature door in the mirror and this will cause the main door to open. On the black graduation hat, move the gold needle to point straight up.

Doing this allows you to take the W.O.M.B.A.T. test - an HP trivia test made by JK herself. It's quite fun, and something to do if you've exausted the supply of fics around. *cough*Dark Syaoran*cough*
Anyway, at the end of the test you are given a code that corresponds to your test and you can use the code later on to find your mark.

Edit: If you didn't know which door is the RoR door, you get to it by clicking on the pink eraser.

 

My rock keeps going back to the flower pot adn wont shatter the damn mirror. How to fix?

 

I too am having the same problem, which leads me to believe that we are being played for mere fools

Edit: Alas i was wrong, It appears that if the mirror breaketh not, then you are using the Accessible version of the site, as opposed to the normal version.. such a situation can be rectified by re-typing the address and choosing the appropriate link

Hmm. I don't know why you can't break your mirrors. Maybe you are aiming at the wrong spot? I took the test. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.

It works, Drag the rock in front of the mirrir and let go of the button.
The test isn't easy.

 

It ain't working on my computer. Maybe its my broser. Does FireFox work for it? When I drag the rock in fron of the mirror it just goes back behind the flower pot.

How do you check your scores?

I'm not a member of her club, or whatever, and i frankly have no wish to be, so i won't get the score in an email or anything.

 

There is no club. I imagin that she will put up your scores some time in the future.

Fuck that...i can't be bothered for Ms. High-And-Mighty Rowling to get off her scottish ass and score these tests.

It was hard, but i honestly don't care about it enough to wait...i expected there to be a pre-programmed list of answeres, and that it would give you a percentage, or an OWL score or something.

 

I had to laugh at that. Righteous anger, indeed. I think that she will have a program grade them (rather than do it personally), and it probably just hasn't been set up yet.

you don't have to move the plant, the edge of the rock is sticking out on the bottom right hand side of it.

 

Just thought I'd say, it's now to late to take the test if you haven't yet.

 

Damn, and I was too lazy to compelete it. Nice to know I missed my chance. Ah well.
