Paul Bettany said in an interview that there was a planned post credits scene for Endgame which had Wanda steal Vision's corpse from the government morgue.

However after it was decided that Endgame shouldn't have a post credits scene the scene wasn't filmed.

 

Eh...I don't think there have been many references to someone else being involved? Literally theo nly thing is Woo's "Who's doing this to you?" But everything in the show indicates it's wanda.

You might be projecting things from the comics.

 

Agnes is giving quotes suggesting Mephisto's involvement in every episode she's appearing. Could be misdirection, but it sets up fans to expect something more than just it's all Wanda.

 

I am still on board if Mephisto and Agatha Harkness are involved.

But so far it looks like it is indeed Wanda acting alone and making a puppet of Vision's corpse.

 

I mean if you're not a comic book fan....you wouldn't know. *shrugs* It's possible, but could go either way.

 

I was considering, assuming Mephisto is involved somehow, who could play him and to be honest the comics version of the character isn't really that impressive. He's a devil and that's about it.

This gives a chance for whoever will be playing him to actually add something to that.

If I could use one interpretation, I would base it on very unusual take when Mephisto went on date with Magma. In that one issue, he appeared to be a nothing more than a nice guy with an unusual job. He even explained that he probably gives more to charity than anyone else because he wants people to have long and enjoyable lives. It gives him more chances to get them all.

At the same time, I would keep his more demonic character for situations when things don't go as he wanted.

My pick would be Bryan Cranston for this kind of transformation.

 

Just got to get an actor who can do that simmering low-key charming villain thing.

Anthony Hopkins would be my first choice, but he's already Odin in MCU.

My second and third choice would have to be Joaquin Pheonix or Ralph Fiennes.

 

Peter Stormare played Lucifer in the 2005 Constantine movie and he did an amazing job. I'd love to see him play Mephisto.

 

Quite impressive how a TV shows gimmick is used for more than just that, a gimmick. That end credits scene was an excellent example of that and a breaking of the fourth wall with a recast was another.

This show is gold.

 

Something tells me he'll stick around after the show. Great way to keep using an actor. After all let's admit it: he's the better version and always was in those other movies.

 

When he was first revealed everyone was assuming he will be the weaker version, but ended up the only version that anyone talks about.

 

When Sweet Dreams hit during that scene I literally stood up from my seat in the cinema. It was that awesome.

 

I expect the show to have a scene like that. How they can have him and not do it?

Maybe. Perhaps since she doesn't have Pietro's body to manipulate like with Vision she simply made someone act like him.

 

The writer’s willingness to consistently and somewhat subtly break the fourth wall is one of the reasons I’m really enjoying it.

First couple of episodes were a slog, but now ready to watch them Thursday night instead of Friday

 

Maybe this is how they are gonna bring X-men / Deadpool in the Marvel Universe. Have Wanda merge the two worlds. Since Disney bought Fox

So Pietro is a walking corpse too. The kids have superpowers of their own. Vision is incapable of surviving outside the Hex. Wanda has expanded the Hex and trapped Darcy and lots of soldiers inside.

Monica and Jimmy managed to escape and are going to meet someone who can help. I doubt it's Captain Marvel but I'd be glad if it was.

Also dressing up Agnes as a witch for Halloween is a nice wink to the audience that she may be indeed Agatha Harkness.

 

In my opinion he's not. If he was, it would be the same actor. Not sure what this scene was. Maybe she's starting to get even more unstable?

Probably not her because it's suppose to be an engineer. I have no guess who it could be. There aren't that many engineer characters and none really fits. It would be a good place to have Reed Richards make entrance, but I expect some supporting character from one of the films.
