It doesn't. If people think this plan is good, someone roleclaims as judge.

NOBODY SHOULD COUNTERCLAIM THIS EVER EVER EVER, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE THE REAL JUDGE.

It is an outright BAD thing for town to counterclaim regardless of whether the initial claim is true or false.

And then to proof that the person that roleclaimed Judge is the real Judge, we vote no lynch. If that person dies, he obviously was not the judge (because the real Judge just hit him with a lynch hammer).

 

Just putting it out there that I am not the judge but I am pro-town.

If someone comes forward and role-claims as the judge, I am willing to follow Kai's plan.

Kai's plan doesn't really have that many drawbacks, cept unless the Judge doesn't want to role claim. Obviously, no scum are stupid enough to fake claim judge now, (lol....) so if the real judge doesn't want it... whats going to happen?

Kai's plans sounds solid as long as no town fake claims as Judge.

 

I don't like this plan, the only permutation of this plan that would happen is the Judge roleclaims and the Coven kills off one(well two counting the hitmen) of the threats to their Enchantress.

So with that in mind.

He already has multiple votes for him and if we are going by someone who will not attract the kind of attention that would make the Mayor a target more than they already are, Castiel fits the bill.

The main goal of this plan is ensuring that the Coven don't get the Mayor, more than anything else.

Judge is just the only role where we can know with 100% accuracy what is happening. And other than the ability to kill the Enchantress, Judge as a role isn't so important imo.

I had some other ideas to secure a townie mayor, but they all have some issues.

As for if the Judge doesn't claim, well... If it comes to that we can work things out from there?

I like that Necrule Paen doesn't trust Jon and Kai. Further, his posts - both in Mafia and more generally - are always well thought out, rational, and balanced. I think he will make a good mayor.

What's wrong with Kai's plan? If he's town, we get a confirmed town as Mayor. If he's scum, he's dead on day one.

Just because you don't trust him is not a good enough reason. If you have an alternate plan that doesn't rely on someone's posts in their previous game, then do feel free to share.

 

That's the problem though. Even when he's scum, Kai's plans always look foolproof and pro-town when they're first presented. E.g. in HoT, his plan in the first couple of days that led to the MoD being killed. Seemed pro-town, and in a sense was pro-town. It just so happened that it also served Kai's agenda even more than it served the town.

Given that it's been impossible in the past to tell between pro-town Kai and scum Kai, I think it's best to adopt distrust of him in principle.
